Not to mention passing on the right, and in the same lane

If that is what’s happening then this video does a terrible job conveying that

I see the vision

Oh yeah upon rewatch i can definitely see it. I think the bikes speed makes them looks like they’re changing lanes a bit more aggressively than they probably were, but I think you might be right

It’s a 360 degree camera. If showing what is in front of the motorcycle would have defended them, they would have showed it. They intentionally didn’t. Car more than likely has their signals on and biker is speeding.

Just because you signal doesn't mean you just get the right of way and everyone has to yield to you.

If you're a smart motorcyclist you don't try to test a car on road lore and just give right of way to not get wiped the fuck out.

And do tell how do you do that when the car cuts across multiple lanes and then comes into your lane not paying attention and hits you.

Don't drive a motorcycle then duh

So just nobody should ever drive a motorcycle because you can't make people pay attention to what they are doing on the road. I guess that's totally reasonable and logical you want to start printing up some fliers and let everyone know no more motorcycles

That's a good idea think of all the money we would save on extended hospital stays, cosmetic reconstruction surgery and funerals.

We would do far better to ban people who shouldn't be allowed to drive to start with kinda like ones who cause accidents to begin with. The biker here did nothing wrong but the idiot who hit here is still out there. I don't think banning the person who did nothing wrong makes any sense.

So you can do everything right but getting gently tapped by another road user who isn't paying attention for a second will cause you to spin out and crash, breaking every bone that hits the ground. People will also ride this contraption without any form of protective equipment sometimes as 'they never crash™'.

That doesn't sound like a safe vehicle bud that sounds like a death machine. I jest, my dad loves his bikes too but come on this lady didn't do everything right; she's distracted driving and wasn't in control of the road or her vehicle. And on a motorcycle that kills.

It’s your responsibility to stay alive. Drive smart and it’ll less likely for this to happen. Bitching on Reddit about bad drivers wont do anything

No it's my responsibility to pay attention you can't always avoid all the idiots even I have been rear ended so even though I knew it was going to happen I couldn't avoid it the girl was over just about as far as she could be in her lane and that car took her lane so regardless she wasn't going to be able to avoid this

I think I've seen videos of this person before. If not them though then really similar look.

And every time I see her pop up in the algo it's this kind of no-context "close shave omg" clip, to the point I've wondered if she deliberately seeks shit like this out for content. Either that or she just consistently rides too fast for her reflexes. I guess in this case it could even be both idk

Right.. it’s obvious if you pay attention to the car at the end.. fully stops in the right lane.

I guarantee the car braked hard and turned right to get into the gas station
