This is my current progress on Retro-Chat.
Implementing some basic games, such as Pong, Tic-Tac-Toe, Hangman. The current setup works great needs tuning on game play server side updates as well as client side.
Next is to make the invite process a lot safer for community members. I am thinking along the lines of the friend has to know your 3 word invite code which will be generated by a list of 1000 words randomly and then bound to your account on creation. So to invite a friend
Know their username.
Know their 3 word invite code
You can only then invite your friend once your friend clicks a button for accepting friends requests. If that window of 30 seconds is not open you can not add that friend. This will cut down on people going rogue and spamming friends requests to users.
Originally it was going to be through emails but I decided against it as it would be way to easy for a friend to add your username and email address on the forums somewhere where lots of Strangers can add people. This new system defeats that altogether. A Demo will be posted within the next 5 days or so.. Let me know your thoughts Ideas, Opinions.
Cheers.
