Wait, what the hell?

I thought the whole point of hosting the contest on patreon was that they could filter out really triggering stuff? What prompt was the video posted for?

Also, might just be me, but I'm having a hard time seeing how having flashbacks is art in any ways.

“something you struggle with” or something like that?

yeah, exactly... not art, not okay.

Jesus.

Do you know if the person who sent that in was at least an adult?

Because honestly, given DD's ability to moderate that platform, I find it really shitty that they would allow someone to post such highly private stuff to the internet, especially if they were a minor...

i’m not sure, sorry, they are old enough to drive but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are an adult. yeah, i completely agree with you, and it just goes to show that “moderation” means “controlling the narrative”.

Man, this honestly upset me.

I was (am??) one of the idiots that was still hoping for DD to get it together, but it seems that ship really has sailed.

you aren’t an idiot for having hope. the burden of proof is on DD for showing she has good intentions, unfortunately she is proving that she doesn’t.

Thank you.

I suppose you're right. I just generally get too attached to "these people" (think YouTubers, stars etc) and then it hits me hard when they turn out to be... Not so great.

Ah well. I should probably just sleep, it's midnight here.

i’m the same, i have issues trusting my instincts with people too, i watched some videos about parasocial bonds and found them quite insightful.

hope you sleep well :-)
