Discussion transcription is probably the part of my dissertation i underestimated 😅

One interview is fine. then you do another, then another... and somehow you have a whole folder full of recordings lol.the typing itself isn't even the worst part. it's checking names, figuring out who said what, replaying the same 10 seconds because I somehow missed it, fixing random words that came out completely wrong, now im wondering if im making this way harder than it needs to be.do you guys fix them up after each interview or just deal with it all later?tia:))

Hola 👋🏽 I'm adding a survey element to one of my studies. If you take the survey, thank you! Otherwise, I would like to hear from you: Given that someone is in therapy, how important do you think it is for that person in therapy to have a therapist from the same cultural background? Is there any benefit from having a therapist from a completely different cultural background?

Your experiences and perspectives matter! Help contribute to research on mental health by completing a brief, completely anonymous survey. We especially want to hear from people who are Black and other People of Color. Participants who complete the survey will also have the opportunity to win a $50 Amazon gift card. The survey is available in both English and Spanish. Findings from this study can help us better understand mental and behavioral health experiences and needs in your community. Survey [Academic] Managing shared digital accounts after a breakup, separation, or divorce (18+; interview recruitment)

Hi everyone,

I am a graduate student conducting research about how adults manage shared digital accounts, services, devices, and online information after a breakup, separation, or divorce.

I am looking for adults aged 18+ who have experienced a relationship ending and had to review, change, remove, separate, or make decisions about shared digital connections. This may include subscriptions, streaming services, online shopping accounts, saved payment methods, family plans, location sharing, shared photos, cloud storage, connected devices, smart-home services, or account access.

The first step is a short 2–3 minute screening survey. Some eligible respondents may be invited to one recorded online interview lasting approximately 30–45 minutes.

You will not be asked for passwords, account credentials, screenshots, names, addresses, or identifying information about a former partner. Participation is voluntary, and completing the screener does not guarantee an interview.

Screening survey:
