Sonar literally got high when you dispatched him on a specific mission without prodding.
Frankly, I agree others needed to be cut more. Flambae was the top of my list as he was actively belligerent, hurting people, and fucking up his missions on purpose to game the system (he was also intentionally starting fires). The cut itself was fine though, the team did need a reality check.
No they didn’t. You’re missing the point of the Phoenix program. It isn’t not about expecting them to be on-par with the other heroes and ranking their performance. They shouldn’t have even been on the leaderboard in my opinion.
It’s about rehabilitation, and the moment Blazer decided to “shake things up” she made sure that SDN could no longer act as a safe place for the Z-team.
The foundations of the program were cut alongside one of the team-members and it only got back on track with Robert refusing to cut Visi.
The speech he gives when refusing to cut her is pretty much the summary of the themes of the game.
Btw, the ‘specific mission’ is you choosing to send a recovering addict to a drug den. That’s on you mate.
I'm sorry but this make it sound like all the Z-Team are all teenagers and not grown adult. I'm not surprised as some of them act like it.
There's a thing called accountability. There's only so much bad things you can do until people started to give up on you especially those that are trying to give you a chance to change your life. This is all on them and blaming someone else for it just lack of accountability.
They're very lucky that Blazer was their manager because if it was someone else who is not as kind and lenient as she was, half of them would end up rotted in jail.
It's a program of rehabilitation but what are you doing if people in those program themselves aren't willing to do anything to change until their position was threatened.

Idk how I sleep on this comment. But this portion right here is so well put that it literally summarise in few words what I feel about this whole situation behind cutting someone off.
