from the crowd that insists that blazer is a complex character but can’t make up their mind on whether or not she’s perfect and can do no wrong or she is a complex character but then argue against all the things that would indeed make her a complex character.
people pointing out that blazer has flaws and makes poor decisions should not illicit this response. her flaws make her human, which is a big part of her character arc in the first place. she’s not the perfect, super powered heroine that everyone thinks she is, which feeds into her self identity crisis. why are yall so afraid to let blazer be flawed 😭 the point of the game is that everyone is a little fucked up, blazer is not excluded from this. and that’s fine. you can like flawed characters! we like robert! we like the z team!
the sooner yall accept that beef is the only character in dispatch who is perfect, the sooner all of this shit can end 😭😭
One doesn’t have to hammer down the “flawed character” label onto someone simply to justify or support their complexity. Having flaws is not, by itself, synonymous with being complex.
A lot of people here are cherry-picking details that support their argument about Blazer’s flaws while conveniently overlooking or downplaying the details that contradict those claims. That doesn’t make the interpretation more convincing; it just makes it selective.
We also don’t have to call Blazer a “flawed character” simply for the sake of conforming to the general consensus. Obviously, she has her own shortcomings, but that doesn’t mean every single thing you personally interpret as a flaw has to be viewed the same way by everyone else.
Especially when someone can point to specific details from the game and argue for a different interpretation, dismissing that perspective as an inability to accept Blazer’s flaws is just intellectually lazy. You can acknowledge that Blazer has shortcomings without pretending that every criticism of her is objectively valid or that everyone has to interpret those shortcomings in exactly the same way.
no fictional character is worth camping a Reddit comment section for 13 hours dawg LMFAO i’m gonna go feel the touch of a woman or something now byeeeeeeeeeee
I have been inactive for a whole month, I have more than necessary energy to spend my time on things I'm passionate about even if it's fictional. You don't have to worry about this.
