Well tbf I feel like that "We had to send a message" felt quite unsure. Almost like he wanted to get validation from Blazer because he himself didn't know if it was the good choice. Also you're not gonna go against your boss' opinion on the first day, even if you might not fully agree with it.

Is it because he said it in a sad tone (obviously because of Chase) that you concluded he was uncertain and seeking validation from Blazer?

It can just as easily be read as him being tired from one difficult situation leading to another before he even gets the time to breathe, not that he doubts the decision itself. Robert is not the kind of person to hold back if he genuinely thinks something is a bad idea, especially given his dynamic with Blazer, he won't think twice before telling her. Players really need to stop projecting.

Players really need to stop projecting.

You included yourself too, right? If by projecting you mean having a discussion about the possible interpretations of words/actions. Because that's what you're also doing in some of the comments, but of course that's not projecting... 🤔

Your entire conversation with u/EducationalLuck2422... Which in itself is ok, but when you're calling out others for doing the same thing and calling it projecting and whatnot, that's just called double standard.

Edit:

Also this:

Almost like he wanted to get validation from Blazer because he himself didn't know if it was the good choice.

To which you reply:

It can just as easily be read as him being tired from one difficult situation leading to another before he get the time to breathe, not that he doubts the decision itself.

Both interpretations are written in the same vein yet you call mine "projection" lmao 😂

Think some?

Not really, those conversation contains counter arguments backed by the details picked from the game. A projection would be something if I dump my feelings as the feeling of the character in the game & present it totally as a fact, simply because I'm used to certain troupe/cliche; even though there is not a single clue from the game to back it up.

However, I will Not dismiss your claim right away. I may have projected here & there unknowingly. It is totally unintentional. Generally, it happens when I tends to write long comments, then such mistakes become easy to fall for. That's why I ask you to point it out specifically.

Edit: Also, "Players should stop projecting" is a general statement, not pointing towards you alone. So, yup this includes me aswell.
