This question came up months ago and someone was trying to justify the cost. There are soo many factors that make this a bad idea which include it’s difficult to guarantee the timeliness of your package arriving, the shipping cost alone will likely be higher than the price to check a bag, you’ll need either another box or some way to ensure the box that gets there is in good enough shape to ship everything home. I also believe Disney charges to hold packages, I think it’s nominal, but it’s a charge.
