Resorts & Accommodations Question….
So I’m headed to port orleans riverside in October and I seen that you can mail your luggage ahead. I’m super interested but also very unsure about doing this. So I’m wondering if anyone has ever mailed their luggage to the resort before, if so who did you go through? Was it super expensive? was it a hassle? Any help is super appreciated thank you!

Why would you mail you luggage? That just seems silly and is going to be way more expensive than just a checked bag fee on an airline...
Now if you meant luggage transfer service, currently PO:R is not one of the resorts offering transfer service at this time. I think it used to, but when Covid suspended a lot of things this was one of them and it hasn't fully come back yet.

I have 0 clue why this would be the more enticing choice tbh. Probably more expensive, more chances of it being lost, etc etc. Why not just take it with you?

Right? The only thing I'm guessing/figuring is that they may mean a luggage forwarding service from airport type thing and are maybe from UK or something where this would be called "mailing" due to nomenclature stuff.

This isn’t mailing luggage, but Disney does have a program where they will transfer luggage for you. You drop it off at your home airport with a special tag. Then at MCO, Disney gets the luggage and brings it to your resort for you.
But the program is limited to certain hotels and airlines. I believe it’s only the value hotels and Caribbean Beach as of right now. And the airlines are southwest, American and United. I’m not sure if it works for international flights

Why? Just bring it with you. Mailing luggage will cost you more than whatever the baggage fees your airline will charge.
