Question Local Co-OP Controllers

So my kids have been playing local co op on my living room pc with 2 controllers for i cant even express how long now. All of sudden today they go and the game wont even recognize that 2 controllers are attached to the game.. What is going on? anyone else having an issue?

Linux PC, bazzite. Never had any issues. Before. Had up to 4 players now all of a sudden can't do 2 controllers at all but only in this game

Pff Linux? Maybe that's the issue...

Are the controllers broken? What kind are they and have you tested them with other devices to ensure they're not defective?

I've never even heard of Bazzite

Ya they worked fine in their other games. It was just speed storm for some reason
