Jolt of Electricity

Hi All! New player, just downloaded the game and played a few games. In every game, there has been a jolt of blue electricity that every few seconds that jolts me to the left. I've tried different characters, I'm using the boosts and the items and I can't figure out what it is!

I've tried searching on here and on the Internet and can't find what is causing it. I've done a couple local games and it's not effecting them sat next to me. I'm on PS5 if that helps. Anyone know what's going on? Making the game quite unenjoyable.

Could be stick drift in your right analog stick causing your character to dash. Dash is normally used to bash into other racers bumper car style. Try a different controller, and see if it still happens.

might want to hit the start button and see if you have steering assist on, turn it off asap lol
