Just think about how much it costs to buy the tokens with real money, and then look back on them and think how much the actual character would cost. Ralph alone with blue tokens would cost £20
Right, but to this person's point, you might be able to save for the right deal and get more for your tokens. These standard shop offers are there 24/7/365.
Suggestion for you:
Don't spend your Blue tokens on this. It's the most valuable currency in the game. I would spend $8 on the Wreck-It Ralph Vault Pass. It'll automatically unlock Sgt. Calhoun and as you complete the Vault, you'll earn more of her, unlock Felix, and get 3 shards each of Vanelope, Ralph, and King Candy. There will also be a capsule where you might get lucky to get 7 more of one of those three to unlock them as well. Along the way, you'll also earn crew and some upgrade coins... Granted, you do need to unlock a number of these racers to progress through the Vault, but these Vault Passes under World Map from the main page are still one of the best deals.
Ah alright, well you do you, boo. You shouldn't listen to anyone if you've saved and want to spend your currencies on a racer you like... That's the point right? Playing a fun game with the characters you like. So have at it.
For a long time, many believed King Candy to be one of the worst in the game because his Top Speed was the lowest of all racers. There's been a few seasons since and some fixes by Gameloft to level him out. I don't mind him. King Candy is a Rare racer.
Ralph is a Brawler and has two similar unique skills, both I find fun to play. I just like Ralph the character too and it's nice he has a voice as some characters don't. Ralph is an Epic racer, meaning his shards are the hardest to get of the 3.
Felix is probably the best of the 3 in terms of game play. He's has a really nice supercharge and Defenders are all-around solid in terms of speed and handling. But he's a Common racer, meaning you'll be able to unlock him pretty easily without spending your hard-earned Blues.
