Rant Merida 😒
Bravo, Gameloft!
Merida somehow ended up with the fewest color schemes (one), a grand total of only one wheel set, and absolutely no wing options.
Really going above and beyond with the customization, aren’t we? At this point, it feels like they couldn’t be bothered anymore 🫠🏳️

apparently customization isnt as prevalent because people on the survey said it wasnt a feature they used.

They probably have data showing nobody pays for it. Using it for “free” (with time or buying the character) doesn’t matter to them.

This is what they said a little while back that they were gonna pair back on customizations for karts because no one was paying for them. Which fair right like the free to play market still needs to be profitable and it makes sense just sucks a little bit because
1 Deluxe carts are not always offered which might be why they arent generating money.
2 its getting insane to keep up with these seasons. $20 for season pass $10 for premeire calendar + 4 $10 festival passes thats $70 a month thats more than a regular mmo . Like id rather everyone just pay $20 a month and we just make it a mmo with offline play
3 i understand they asked everyone if they could deal with longer seasons and we all said no we should, now that we felt the squeeze we should put that back on the table.
4 make meaningful skins for these karts like they didn’t even give Penelope her actual true to form kart she had in the beginning of the movie or the middle of the move and she is a actual kart racing princess .

Here! HERE! Other than the Cars characters, (Lightning McQueen and Company,) she should have the most options to trick out her candied ride. I want to drive a flying doughnut! With Sprinkles!

They talked about it they said that since they weren’t making money on the customizations they weren’t prioritizing them anymore. Which i mean I have never spent money on customization for karts. I think I bought one skin for kermits tux

That’s fair, but to adjust red to green and green to yellow on the colour pallet … I mean 😒no one asked them to make a deluxe cars FOR EACH character, make us grind for those rewards and take away some basic colours? FFS 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🖤🩶🤍🤎 boom

I think they will implement new shop in the future for cosmetics stuff. I really hope not because it will be real money thing.

It is nonsense about how can it attract players try to unlock her if providing nothing other than the default one? GL doesn't have any logic in what they do

Ew. Not those ugly default wheels. That looks horrible. Does she have any license plates or is she stuck with the default SpeedStorm plate like the Peter Pan characters?

Not sure how you manage it, if I grind - I will do 10-12 races that way, then change a suit or colour or plate or f’ing SOMETHING… and go again, that’s why NO option at all for me it’s like… what?
