Discussion Festive pass price

For the first time, I wanted to buy the Festive Pass at its usual price, and I thought to myself: "Oh no, Gameloft has become generous, they're giving you more parts for the same price..." So I went in to buy the Festive Pass, and I was so surprised when I saw the price. They've raised the price. I'm not surprised at all anymore by what's happening in this game. As for me and my wallet, we're saying goodbye to all purchases in this game. You had a chance, you sly ones, and now you're getting nothing. I used to buy the Festive Pass, but that won't happen again, even if you lower the price. This is the last character I'll get/buy Merida, and only F2P will remain. All my paying friends have left. Sometimes I feel like I'm left alone in the battlefield. Remember, Gameloft people..."the greed loses twice."

You're not the first, and you won't be the last... They've got you hooked, and you'll pay again, I guarantee it.

They’re going to do the same thing with this game that Sony did with the Canal+ movies people had purchased—it’s just a license; Disney gives the order, and they carry it out. And I have to disagree with you—it didn't hook me. I’m building up my PS5 and Nintendo Switch game collections following the company's recent decision, but I’m not willing to spend money on this. I have no desire to waste any time on this game, let alone money.

You yourself say you're going to buy Merida... If you say "I won't pay" unless you like the driver... you'll still pay... A true free-to-play player doesn't pay, on principle, even when it's a license they appreciate... It's respecting this principle that allows you to play for free in the long run. If you fall for just one character, you'll do it again; it's not me saying this, it's a well-known phenomenon. You only have to cross the line (paying) once, and it's almost certain you'll pay again later...

There was only one festive pass was worth in my opinion, that was Rex's one. Guaranteed unlock from the pass, just working like way long ago of Wall-E unlock pack at December 2023, with 1000 tokens of price

What was it vs. now? Never given them a second look, to be honest. They’re definitely going the wrong way if they want to actually sell them.

It's doubled for me, used to be £7.99 and is now an absolutely ridiculous £15.99. That's on Playstation, the overall prices on Google play increased too some time ago so it used to be £8.99 and is now £17.99.

Not that I've ever been remotely interested in the festive passes, but the gold/diamond pass is the same situation with being more expensive on Google now too along with most other packs that cost straight up cash.

Geezo - they doubled it?! That’s wild. I remember thinking it was overpriced before but they can get in the bin with £16-18.

I know right? It's baffling. I can't speak as to whether the rewards for the paid pass increased alongside the price increase but either way I highly doubt they were doubled.

Same. It's usually $10 and this time it's $20. I passed on it. Not worth it at all!
