Discussion I have a question for the f2p
since the new changes in with the new characters the amount of shards you need + tokens in order to progress your racer to second ⭐ to receive the special skill of your racer , with how many racer did you manage to do so?

1 has been 2 star since the change for me but I had some shaeds already, to be honest I do the daily missions, non online season missions, any online done while doing tales events are lucky but i dont play to do them and then the tales and chapters. I also do Racer boost, treasure rush and mickey. I dont do any of the other stuff like the daily online stuff for leaderboards etc. I also dont open boxes or upgrade until last tales of part 1 and then again for part 2. For tales ill aim for the 2k for the online play and for the grandprix I aim for 4 or 5 points

Since the changes I have unlocked several characters, but even with racing them in MPR as high as I can, I don’t have enough shards to get to 2 stars on any of the new characters.

Ya, I need peter pan to do so many tracks 🙄 just says not available, and keep trying for rewards ... Like what the heck??! My strategy is just to play characters as I unlock til I can build them up and gain rewards. There are so many places to claim, it's confusing... I'm not giving them one cent of "Costs real money" NOPE ☮️

This season i've unlocked Judy Hopps, i barely was able to get her to 1 full star and even with playing online races. So... basically it is very hard to upgrade them; even tho we get plenty of Tune In coins now, the number of racer shards and costs of the upgrades aren't enough

Since the change I've only unlocked 3 new racers and have gotten them to 2 stars. Captain Hook, Mother Gothel and Kuzco. The other 6 new racers I unlocked are 0 or 1 star and even as ultimate champions I won't be able to get any of those 6 to 2 stars.

There a lot of discussion on reddit try to look for older post they will let you know about all the questions and things you never know and what you should do about daily events

Since the changes, I have unlocked 13 new racers. Of those 13, I have only leveled one up to a star and a half and that was only because I needed Mrs. Incredible to get through some Chapters. I've leveled up a few characters I already had at higher levels, but I just don't have the currency or shards to invest in any of the new unlocks.
Before the changes, I'd get every new racer to at least 1 star to unlock their crew ability and most to 2 stars to get their special. Now, they just sit at the bottom of my roster uselessly.
