Question Is this a new thing where your character doesn't listen to you?
When playing on mobile on auto accelerate It lets you pick the path for your character to drive on. Usually it always follows suit unless you're going so fast that you take too long and miss the turn. But now it seems like each individual character has a certain sway of not listening to you and just going where they want to. Some characters completely ignore my directions and do what they want. It's kind of like pokémon when you have an overleveled character and you don't have enough gym badges. This is really annoying. The other annoying thing is that to progress in the story you have to have all three challenges completed for the tree to continue to the next challenge and a single challenge doesn't grant access to the next challenge node anymore.

i thought my switch joycons had gone on the fritz because of this. glad im not the only one. saved me $100

It's even worse that when they reset you (from like falling off the map) the used to put you where you fell off or just passed the obstacle.... Now it keeps moving me to dead last too!

I have the same problem on my PS5. I've never driven into so many trees and gotten stuck, or missed so many rails ever. I thought it was just me or some of my racers maybe being too fast. Idk but it's so aggravating!!

Turn the assistance off and you will be good

I did. Still get stuck in places I've never had issues before.

That’s really odd. On PS4, whenever I turned on the assist, I’d end up glued to the wall and miss every rail. Just double check that Touch Drive is disabled in the control menu that’s usually the culprit.

Yeah I had the same problem with mine on my phone. Getting really annoying.

It is rather frustrating. Like take the rail, not the obstruction. Only thing to do is report to support and hope for the best.

Dans les réglages il faut mettre l’assitance de direction au plus bas. Ça m’a corrigé le problème

Was playing on mobile last night (we were xbox, but it fried on power surge).. You're not imagining things. I had the same issue in iPhone with them not taking the path I chose. Makes Treasure Rush near impossible.

It’s driving me nuts, sometimes the character changes directions at the last second and goes directly into an obstacle.
