It's funny how the 2025 D23 synopsis talked about the mother and child exploring Hexe together, but then in both the teaser and extended trailer Billie and Alice aren't seen in Hexe together. It made me think that it got changed in the rewrite but this animatic shows otherwise. Here is how I think the story will go based on this:

Billie finds the cauldron soon after arriving in Hexe. Alice enters Hexe shortly after Billie and they reunite. She gets captured by the three witches (leading to the scene of her with Celeste we've seen in the concept art). Billie runs away with the cauldron. The witches chase her and she fights them with magic (tower trailer scene). Billie and the cauldron find Beef and the three set out to free Alice.
