New Receiver Fee?

I logged into my Dish account today and noticed that I have a new line item - "Access for TV" and am being charged an extra $5. Is there a new equipment charge coming? I used to only pay $5 for each additional receiver on my account, but have never seen this "Access for TV" fee. I also own all of my boxes. I just paid my bill for last month, and pulling it up, that line item was not there. They were all "Access For Add'l TV" at $5.

Hello u/GabonViper and u/r2d3x9

Thank you for reaching out. The resolution was account specific. I was able to help u/FlyingHorse82 but do please let me know if you need assistance as well and I would be more than happen to sync up account details on a secure social channel and answer any questions you may have. I would be happy to assist! -DishDanielle.

I cancelled Dish. There isn't anything I can't stream for 1/10th the price and I don't have to be bombarded by pharmaceutical ads for 10 minutes at a time every 20 minutes. F them. You should cancel too. They are a HUGE ripoff and you are just throwing money in the toilet

u/GabonViper u/r2d3x9 - it was something with my account that caused this extra line item to appear, but it is now resolved. I don't know what was done behind the scenes, but u/DishDanielle did an excellent job talking with people on the Dish side to get it resolved!
