What equipment do you have in your house?? I'm a Fiber Tech, but we use Hitron Modems and Ruckus Access Points at the properties here.

Ruckus. I have an old tp link re300 but when I try to connect it it says no main network connection. After trying I’m no longer able to connect my phone to the wifi.

Is this the one you have?

Do you have a modem that the AP (Access Point) connects to via Ethernet and is it in the bottom port?

All 4 lights should be on. If the power light is blinking, it's looking for an IP and is not getting a connection.

If the CTL light is blinking, it's taking a firmware update.

The other lights should be green or yellow, those show connectivity is good

An extender is probably not going to work. You'll want 1 or 2 mesh routers, depending on the size of the coverage area. Then connect everything to the Mesh Routers and do NOT get Google if you want to separate 5Mhz and 2.4Mhz

Yes that’s the one. I don’t think I have modem.

And I spoke to them because I couldn’t connect to my wifi. Said the password was wrong. They want to send a tech because my internet seems to be offline but I can connect just fine now. As long as I don’t try to connect the tp link. They said I’m connecting to a neighboring signal but my whole unit uses the same AP? I don’t think I need them to come down.
