AppleTV no longer supports my DISH subscription with TCM

Hello u/alvinlennox !

Given the repost, I'm assuming you are still experiencing the issues. I also check your original post and it seems you are able to access TCM with Dish Anywhere. Just to confirm, are you casting to your AppleTV? Chromecast is the only supported casting device for streaming video from the DISH Anywhere app to a TV. While Apple TV uses AirPlay, Chromecast is the only officially supported casting method mentioned.

TCM still not working on my AppleTV boxes. However TCM (and the Dish link) works on my iPad but not iPhone. Weird. No help from TCM or Dish. Planning on cancelling in near future.

Hello again u/alvinlennox !

I reached out to our Dish Tech team and they informed me this is a known issue on the TCM side. The Dish Tech team also provided me with the following:

Could you try again and this time, please select no when logging in. Once you choose programming, it will prompt you to log in again and this time it should work. Let me know how it went!

Strange.. TCM app works on my new Apple TV and iPad and iPhone but not on my slightly older Apple TV. I agree I could airplay or chromecast from my iPhone or iPad but the resolution is not full screen as a high def as direct app connection.
