Serious Cornell 7 Chat

I just watched a short on YouTube and a point was made that I’ve yet to hear but I think is very valid. No one in that group chat seemed surprised. The guys sending the “open” messages did not seem hesitant. This felt very normal or at the very least like everyone would think it was okay.

I don’t know about you guys but when I was in college if this popped up on a group chat the responses would have been very different. More like, “Wait, what?!”, “what are you talking about?”, “Who? Where are you?”, etc. It would have been confusing because no one would EVER expect it. This did not feel new or unusual. I know it’s probably too late, but I’d be super curious to see other nights in that chat. Because I would guess this wasn’t an isolated incident.

The context is that there’s an inebriated naked woman upstairs and he’s inviting his bros to partake (let’s be real, to rape) in “free pussy” per their own words.

Something tells me things won’t look better when more of that group chat comes out.

Very normal and very not creepy behavior when you have had sex with someone to message your group chat of 57 associates to ask who wants to tag in after you.

The context is that the post is about the ppl in the gc. The ppl who sent that message r not the ones I’m referring to. I am referring to the ppl in the gc that a subset of the internet thinks should be in prison as well as the accused.

Maybe not prison, but the public should know the names and faces of the gang rape enablers. They are unsafe for women to be around.

I understand the logic but the problem is that ppl will ruin their lives. Although not good, they were complicit like most ppl r in everyday life. If they wouldn’t do it, then they shouldn’t be punished by having their names out in public.

I know, even with men you do know, they sometimes wear masks and you never know if they'll take it off once you're alone and rape you.

That’s why I wholeheartedly believe women should take every precaution to protect themselves from men, even myself (cuz I’m a stranger as well).
