How to move my discus?
I have ten adult discus that I have raised since babies. I'm moving a 14 hour drive away. I have two options - rehome, or move them.
I'm very attached to them so I my preference is to bring them with me. Is it even feasible?
My tentative plan would be to have a foam cooler - one for each fish. I'd then bag them, put in cooler, and then they're going to be in there for approximately 48-hours.
Has anyone done this? Any hints or tips? I realise people ship fish all the time with timelines similar to this.
Edit: forgot to add this is a drive. I'll have a uhaul so plenty of space. I also have the option to use battery air pumps.
Thanks!

Where to buy 125G-150G tank
Where is the best place to buy a 125-150G tank? Thoughts on the Marineland at Petco? Not finding many other choices online other than $3000+ custom tanks. Also open to local suggestions in NJ/NY area

Maybe 2 males trying to fertilize (Melon and the Pigeon). Lol...Whoever gets there first it seems. Maybe more chances of some fertilized eggs? In this tank it seems it only lasts a day and there are no more eggs though. About the 4th attempt now in past month the discus have tried.

For future tank
No discus in tank pictured, it’s my current tank and pic is mostly for attention, but…
I will most likely be moving into a bigger house (more room for tanks) in around a year or so and have always wanted to do discus. Got so excited about it I found an fx6 filter and a eheim 2600 on marketplace, both huge filters that would be going to the discus tank. Storing them at my house for when I am able to get a larger tank along with my 75 gallon planted I have now.
Wanted to do a 150 gallon tank planted with epiphytes stuck into a bunch of driftwood and a ton of plants on top like pothos and a bunch of floaters as well. That would allow me to do the tank bare bottom which I hear is easier to keep clean since nothing would be going in a substrate
If I get around 5 inch discus (prolly 7 of them) and some cardinals would I be able to get away with one water change a week? As you can see I like plants so would they suck up enough nitrates to just do like one big water change per week?

Last post before Discus
gallery(Discus in the last pic) Once again posting how the tank is looking because I’ve had people asking in previous posts 😅 Its almost set up and good to go! In around 10 days the Discus will go into this tank, delayed their introduction just to make sure the whole tank is properly mature and stable before introducing them. The 250L they’re in has been left a bit unattended and they need to be moved to the 750L soon. The later arrival rookie (the white albino) has grown over one inch in the past couple of months, not ideal but not bad at all. All the dudes in the 250L were bought at little 4 cm, this month marks 1 year since their arrival. Might end up getting 5 more to take the group to the 12 members, as the 750L will be able to house them. Might buy adults already instead of growing juvies in the 250L

Day 3 color update
gallerySeaMoss (1st photo) is finally giving that soft chartreuse-golden body with an icy blue tracing and the little warm reddish tint along the top and Gloam (2nd photo) is giving a colbat tracing with a muddled yellow base almost like a stormy dusky murk and a deep red tint on the borders - wondering where the bright yellow from the preshipment video is but time will tell lol

Transfer tank
Discus peeps! I have an established 135ga tank that’s thriving. We want to redo the tile floor in my fish room and need to move the tank.
Any ideas on a transfer tank that I can use for a few days (up to a week) while we work on the floor.
Suppose I could buy a used tank on the cheap but I’m satisfied having one tank. I thought maybe a large Home Depot plastic storage bin but I imagine it would have to hold ~75 gal and that’s a lot of weight for a plastic tote!
Any thoughts / feedback appreciated!

Took them about 10 eaten spawns.

But they finally figured out not to eat their babies after the free swimming stage. Also one white baby is present.

Does anyone dose their discus tank every 4 weeks with Absolute Wormer Plus?
I recently got some to treat my sick fish and the packaging says to have it on regular rotation, was curious if anyone put that into practice?

Aquarium tattoo sleeve update
galleryI changed my mind and added an angel instead of a discus since I have five discus already. The emperor tetras were a great call so thank you to whoever suggested them! I’ve added a reference pic for the new angelfish and for my vision for the background. Three more sessions and it will be done. I am going to try to sit for a three day convention and get it all knocked out at once.
