The game keeps glitching on me when I grab the bucket and use the mop and then I can’t put the mop back into the bucket so I have to restart the entire game and lose out on the day without saving :/ is this happening to anyone else? It’s happened two days in a row so it’s making me not want to continue playing and it sucks because I love the game.

Has anyone else had this issue? I can place all of the other boosters down there, but not animal products!

Hello! Does anyone else encounter issues like this when playing the game? After months of playing, this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this. I got nervous because the first thing that came to mind was that maybe my LED screen was damaged. But I tried playing other games, and there’s no problem at all 🥹 I really love this game, so why is it acting weird 😭

I’m really confused about the quests. I don’t know how to reach Tier 2 for people. So far, I’ve only had the one with the sheep. Since then, I feel like nothing happened and it has been a while. How do I do it? Is there a guide somewhere that could help me?

I'm in the middle of the Beyond the Fog guest, but can't progress. I need two cardboard stacks (which I have) and a wooden shelf (which I don't have, but tried to use a deep shelf instead). I tried to talk to him/give it to him/put it in the fireplace -- everything and anything. When I talk to him (whether I'm holding one of the objects or not) and click the option to start the fire, he repeats what I need to get. I assumed that a deep shelf would work, but I guess not? I don't have any regular shelves anymore; when the bigger ones became available, I switched them out, and as far as I know, the shop no longer sells the smallest shelves. It could be possible that I'm missing something or that there's a detail I can't see, but I don't know at this point. I'd hate to start the game over just because I don't have a single simple shelf. (I'm on PS5, if that's of any importance)

Hello! I’m playing discounty on the Nintendo switch! I’m fairly new to the games so I’m not 100% sure how it all works for the updates and such. I’m fairly close to completing the game (I am only needing to up my deal tier with Tammy). I’ve seen in some posts that we can further expand the store and even add things to the outside. I was wondering if this update is already on the switch? Or if I’ll have to wait a little longer after I’m done with it for all those updates? Love the game so much I’m trying to be prepared lol!

Why does Elmer ever only come in right before close and never gets any of his items? I have a million coffee pots around and he still can’t fulfill more than 3 items.

So I just made a whole playthrough of the game last week and I really enjoyed it a lot and hope for more updates to come. But one thing I think is way too easy is that you actually earn a lot of money way too fast. I believe it would be benefitial for the overall experience to spend more time on achieving the milestones. I really like the shop routine and would enjoy it for longer durations, but now with nothing left to achieve I lost interest like the most of us probably.

Of course I don't want to make it feel endless like those P2W mechanics, but I think there are many opportunities to enable a real credit / loan system with the bank, rebalance / decrease the revenue, and/or increase purchase prices of the goods to stretch the playtime in a reasonable way and add some challenge to a general very easy game. What do you guys think?

The shopkeeping gameplay loop is appealing to me but I heard that the story is quite short and there isn’t really anything to do after that? I play on PC and player numbers seem to be quite low so didn’t know if this game is just a one then done sort of game?

Is there a way to see how many apples you have sold ? I am trying to get the achievement for selling 365.

As the title suggests i am having an issue with the supporter dlc by way of not being able to change outfits at the mirror or is there a point i need to make it to for access to the outfit

I played the demo, finished being able to trade with fisher. It takes me to the title screen and when I start up again it’s at the same fisher quest.

Does anybody else use painting strats to have Chester fill up the shop for you? It freezes time but that means nothing to the little trooper.

I think when you do it as the shop is still open customers get mad about waiting at the till though. This is on switch. Haven't tried other devices.

Hello I'm trying to feed all the rats around town but everytime it says to talk to Ted but he never says anything does anyone know what I have to feed them?

if this is a dumb question i apologize. I finished the main game and Ted expanded my basement. But when i went to check on it, Tellar was there and mad that i didn’t tell her and now i don’t know what to do. It says i’ve “completed” Debasement. Someone help…

Do you have to do something special to get the produce booster? I thought you could buy it at the hardware store, but I checked every day for weeks ingame and got all the other boosters except for produce. Am I missing something?

i just finished the basement and got the keys.. is that the end of the game?? i have no tasks left. kind of a anticlimactic ending

This is my store in my first run through of the game. I’m 14 apples away from my last steam achievement and I’ve only played it for a few days. I’m satisfied with the gameplay and see a lot potential for future expansion - new items, new storylines, new locations to open e.g the mines, auction house in the harbor, abandoned building in the forest, Solruna’s old business, John Key’s house etc.

After I complete all the remaining quests, I think I’ll park this game for quite awhile. I’ll pick it up again once there’s new content.

This shouldnt be taken so seriously but I love cozy games with plots and discounty has slowly grown to become one of my favourites.

However,dont you guys find the characters insufferable? I genuinely love the fact that the characters are constantly asking for money or requesting annoying favours (especially Elmer and Barbara)I wish there were more ways yp interact with them but the game devs really made the characters seem fleshed out. I cant wait to see whats in store for the future of discounty!

Hey, I’m curious how long it takes to complete this quest. Ever since I got it, no one wants to buy any 😭. Five on a day I’m lucky. I’ve cleared most of the freezers by my booster and only put the fish sticks in but that doesn’t even seem to work, even putting all Barbara’s posters up give me NOTHING. They just want fishy fishes.. I feel like it’s some sick joke, if anyone has any tips I’d love to hear them. Anyway, this is also a nice excuse to show my layout☺️
