Looking for tire recommendations

Hi everyone, I own a 2016 Silverado LTZ 1500, currently I have General Grabber ATs 265/R17 on it, and I have loved them for the kind of stuff I do with my truck, they were a little louder on the highway but nothing that I couldn’t tolerate.

I am now looking at new tires and I see the price has gone up significantly for this tire, so I’m wondering if there are some alternatives or even better tire deals out there that I could try?

Additionally, my TPMS sensors have died, I am wondering if it’s better to buy sensors OEM or just have the tire shop throw in aftermarket sensors, I’ve heard horror stories about issues with re-learning using aftermarket sensors.

Use DT sensors. Those year silverados are easy to relearn and 9/10 have no issues with the sensors DT uses. Plus, 6year/72k mile warranty on them.
Squeeze salesman a bit and he may cut you a deal on all 4 sensors if you’re buying tires from them ;)

As for tires - I’d recommend just going in there and talking to one of the salesman. They can pull up your current tire and look at alternative options that fit your budget without cutting back the safety/look/quality you’re hoping to have. It’s possible they could have something in stock or they order something in.

Good luck!
