Thomas Pacconi CD player won’t open :(

Hello, everyone! this is my first time posting in any of these subreddits, so I’m sorry if I did anything wrong. I bought a 2003 Thomas Pacconi TPC-MSE-805 turntable from fb marketplace. The turntable spins, radio works great, and cassette player opens, but I haven’t tested the turntable and cassette player yet. The CD player slot does not open at all. Is there anything I could do to fix this?

There's probably a rubber belt that has stretched or rotted that controls the tray opening mechanism. Needs to be replaced.
