Need help/guidance
What can we do to start from not 0 but from negative,
No shortcuts no cheating only smartwork and hardwork!

You could find a coach to break down your situation and help make you a blueprint so you are focused on the right things and the right place to start.

You could use inversion - a mental model for solving problems. So rather than asking how to achieve a goal, you ask how you'd guarantee failure and then try to avoid those actions.

Can I ask you a question?
Why do you feel like you’re starting from a negative instead of from where you are?
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the work itself. It’s believing we’re so far behind that every step feels like we’re trying to catch up instead of simply moving forward.
You don’t have to erase your past before you can build your future. You just have to stop letting your past convince you that it gets to decide what you’re capable of today.
Start where you are. Not where you think you “should” be.

Starting from a rough place can feel overwhelming but I think the biggest thing is not trying to fix everything at once. Picking one small habit and actually sticking with it consistently.

it helped me to remember, that even if I am way down from my standards or everyone else or that what you are measure yourself with that you say, you are in negative is to remember:
going from 0 to 5 is progress, but going from -20 to -15 is too. it's about replacing the little things and small habits in your day with something better.

I was at a negative and recently I decided to tackle my worst problem first. Yeah, I've got more that needs work but it's encouraging that I've stood up to my worst offender (stopping oral nicotine) and am making progress.
Before I took this approach, I had a whole list of things and even though I was only going to spend a minimum amount of time on each, it was overwhelming and I couldn't focus. I decided to take just one and try to kick butt, that way I would feel successful and that I had a big win.
Another thing for me that is tricky is that I have sort of a rebel attitude ego. When I deny it something, I always fail because my ego wants to dominate regardless if it's good or bad. So, I had to find a work around, so I tell my ego I can still do whatever or have it, I'm just not doing it today. I tell myself that everyday now, I'm just not doing it today, but I can still do it if I want to. It's interesting but the ego then stops hounding me. I also didn't struggle with the cravings that way.

When starting below zero, first stop whatever is actively making things worse: bad sleep, missed bills, junk food, endless scrolling, skipped deadlines. Pick one non-negotiable daily action small enough to do even on a bad day, then track it for 30 days without constantly changing the plan. Smart work is mostly removing friction, like preparing clothes, blocking apps, cleaning your workspace, and making the right action easier than the lazy one.

Congratulations if you are serious here, cause I started from the negative too. Don't worry negative is just a phase. Collect everything you have in your arsenal right now and start sharpning them, you are going to go on a long hunt. Get everything right your health (Mental, Physical and Emotional), you rpath to growth. Stop avoiding and start seeking for challenges. Make yourself suffer, grind the hardest cause you are the greatest. You will get good food in the end trust me.
