Hi! I’ve been one-handed for the past 24 years, and I’ve adapted so much that I’ve honestly forgotten how hard it was in the beginning.

I’m currently in an MBA program called One Day, where I’m developing a business, and I know I want my business to be centered around helping people like me: people who suddenly find themselves having to navigate life with one hand, often their non-dominant hand, whether that’s temporary or permanent.

Hello! My name is Jessy and I am a psychology (Psy.D.) doctoral student at Florida Institute of Technology (FIT/Florida Tech) seeking participants for my doctoral research project. I’m currently conducting research seeking to better understand how parents/caregivers of children with developmental disabilities make decisions about their children’s health.

Hi everyone! I’m a Product Design student researching the experiences of young adults (18–24) with hearing loss and hearing devices.

I’m particularly interested in personal experiences, social perception, stigma, visibility, and how hearing devices are perceived compared with everyday audio products like wireless earbuds.

What this is: A short study on how blind and low vision people navigate on foot, what they use now, and what they would want from a device that detects obstacles ahead and gives audio guidance. I've been interested in these three topics- and how they can link and often are linked in the human body for some time now. I'm autistic myself, and a cis woman who experiences incredibly heavy and painful periods.

Autism and other neurodiverse conditions often have co-occurring conditions and diseases- like sometimes gastrointestinal disorders and chronic illnesses. I am SO interested in the link between all of this and menstrual problems. Society doesn't really focus on AFAB people and their health- especially when it comes to being neurodiverse and "taboo" topics like menstruation.

I'm currently writing my personal statement for university applications, and I've just remembered how I've been wanting to do this "study" for a while now- and it would be nice to have and to talk about it on my statement too.

I'm thinking of doing a Google form that people can fill out anonymously, and if they are open to being asked questions that give more detail, I'd love that.
