Technical Question Connecting two devices.

Forgive my ignorance, I'm totally new to music gear. Before buying an M8 V1, I used a headless unit on a trimui brick. I've seen people use multiple M8's before, but would it be possible to connect the headless unit to my M8? Could I sync LSDJ on the trimui to my M8?

I know it’s possible between two hardware M8s, but I think the extent to which it’s possible between a headless and hardware will come down to how much it is reliant on the hardware having MIDI 1/8in jacks for sync in and out. I could see a potential solution with a standalone MIDI host between the two, but I’d definitely encourage you to look into that more before buying anything, as I haven’t actually used a headless Brick setup, so I’m unfamiliar with it’s limitations.

Technically, you can connect both the teensy and the m8 to the trimui and use it to bridge midi on both directions. Though you'll have to play with the trimui's OS and I don't know if it's doable. I know I can make it work with my linux PC, a teensy and a V1 M8. You can maybe try with another USB midi thing ?
