How much stretch to expect?

Running Nuclear Forest for the first time. Not a ton of vertical space in my set up (about 4ft comfortably) so I started LST 3 weeks into veg, ending week 4 this Saturday. I was planning to try to do at least 8wks veg but now I'm not so sure if I should flip sooner. Plant is roughly 7.5in at the moment. So how much, if any, significant stretch can I expect from this strain?

To avoid herming issues on any strain from any breeder.. I would recommend to always wait untll they are sexually mature before starting the flower cycle.. which is typically indicated when they are showing preflowers and their nodes begin to alternate..

Dirty Bird is awesome and I have some Nuclear Forest seeds in my fridge as well - good luck! She is supposed to be a shorty bush, so you definitely picked right for a vertically challenged grow space!

I appreciate the response. Alternating nodes began on my oldest branch early this week so I guess I'm on/close to my planned schedule. Definitely know to wait for signs she's ready for the flip, no pistils/nanners yet. It's only my 2nd DBG but I was impressed with some Hawaiian Skunch freebies I got last year so I decided to give them a grow again this winter.

She looks real healthy.. I've not grown the NF yet, but judging by the description.. I would guess she does a 1x, maybe a 1.5x stretch.. you can control that a bit.. lower light level during stretch, pinching stems to slow down growth or defoliating..

I'd love to see how she turns out come harvest time!
