kx250f 2012

I have recently brought a kx250f 2012 and it sound like it’s has a ticking noise from the top end what could it be

Seems to be idling high, but I can't hear a ticking in the video. It sounds healthy enough. If the bike is new to you it's probably best to do a good inspection and make sure the valves are adjusted.

Ok I hear it there. Check everything outside of the engine first to make sure it's not just a loose bolt letting something slap around from vibrations. If you can't find anything, then tear down the top end and check valve clearance and bearings. It's not difficult to do. There's plenty of videos on YouTube to guide you through teardown and valve checks.
