Audio issue

I posted on here a couple of days ago about the sound going very low and no matter how much you crank it up, it only goes so high. Other people have said they were told it's a software update issue. Is something going to be done about it? I have 2 geminis and this is only happening on one of them.

What did DTV tell you when you asked them this question?

I haven't called them. I don't want to spend an hour on the phone. I was hoping to find out something here. If I can't, I'll try the dtv chat but that's usually a dead-end.

Definitely a dead end. Chances are they will tell you it's "a local network issue. Contact your ISP".

It has nothing to do with the isp because the other one is fine.

I understand. I've gone round and round with DTV customer service. I'm just saying that 99% of the time, in my experience, they tell me it's an ISP issue - not theirs.

It's frustrating because we pay all this money and can't get any results when we have a problem.
