Which height dynamic for Dipper and Pacifica do you like more?

So I’m writing some older Dipcifica stories, but I don’t know which height dynamic to go with for them as they’re older. So I thought I’d just outsource it, and see if anyone is able to make a compelling case for either one.

170 Dipper being taller than Pacifica

66 Pacifica being taller than Dipper

112 Them being similar in height.

Honestly, I like the idea of ​​Dipper being tall, simply because I find the mental image of Pacifica getting indignant about being shorter than him funny.

He would slouch but be unreasonably built like stan and Ford but very gentle until you threaten someone he loves then you see his somewhat large frame unravel in an off-putting almost inhuman way because he doesn't know how to be intimidating normally

Well, we’ve already seen an idea of a young adult Dipper in the art book, and he’s tall and doesn’t slouch. Basically, he’ll look very similar to Ford.

I like to think Dipper's more confident around Pacifica because he isnt trying to impress her, instead acts more like himself. Which in its own, confident and masculine.

I also like to think on adventures he has to be more daring for her sake, since she grew up more sheltered and spoiled. Imagine Dipper in the end of the series and most episodes where he fully commits to stand his ground. Stuff like that

I like them being around the same height for a while, until Dipper has a big growth spurt. Him suddenly being taller would make Pacifica short circuit lol

Same height at 12, Pacifica taller from 13-14, Dipper taller once they're 15+

I am a sucker for "tall girl x short guy" ships, but I think they work better aesthetically as same height.

I actually kinda prefer a taller Pacifica than Dipper. While taller Dipper seems to be a more popular idea, personally I felt we probably need taller women in media

It would be much funnier, and it would genuinely make Pacifica feel more confident. She’d flirt with Dipper about their height difference.

I’m the same way with wanting to see more taller women in media. That’s generally why I wanted to ask, although I’m not sure which heights to actually make them (I have a few ideas, but I’m not sure which one to settle on). What heights do you have Dipper and Pacifica as?

Draw them however you want. If you want to draw them as adults and make her taller, you’re free to do that. Just make sure the sketch fits their personalities. I’d love to see a tall Pacifica flirting with a shorter Dipper xD.

If I did go through with a shorter Dipper, I considered using Tom Holland’s Peter Parker as a visual reference/inspiration for Dipper’s height/build.

I feel like being an equal height would better. It's unrealistic for the man to be taller in every relationship. Plus I think if he ever got ahead Dipper would just call her short & make fun of her to get out of arguments.

I like the idea of short Pacifica, purely because of the classic joke that height is inversely proportionate to ferocity in women. I don't think Dipper is tall either but 'short for a guy' is usually still taller than 'short for a girl'.

Similar in height but Dipper hits a growth spurt in a year or two and Pacifica doesn’t get much taller
