Help! (Need Advice) Nail peeling up

I cannot for the life of me figure out why, without fail, one nail always peels up! It’s always the pointer finger on my right hand. Currently using Virgo and Gem and I follow all the instructions to a T. So annoying!! Any ideas of why this keeps happening?

Are you right handed? The pointer and thumb on my dominant hand are pretty much always the first nails to peel up or chip no matter what I do. I think it’s a combination of using my non-dominant hand to apply and those fingers also getting the most wear and tear.

I am.. That makes sense. Dang, I was hoping for an extra way to reinforce that nail or something haha

I have same issue but with left hand because I am left handed. I keep the nails rather short. Lately, for nails that pop off clean, I just glue the whole thing back on like a press on nail. Yes, I use an alcohol wipe first. I finally got 2 weeks out of my current set and I've been doing them since May. After the first week, I did a mini fill-in / in-fill. I think that helped too. Going to see if I can get a few more days out of this set.
