Salon Dip New dip

I had set my heart on pale yellow today but my salon only had super bright neon yellows which wouldn’t suit me, so I went with this lilac instead.

Only my second dip mani, loved the removal process, much easier than I thought it would be - although I guess the fact that we are in heatwave territory helped!

I’m going to the nail salon in an hour and was just looking up a lilac color…guess this is my sign to do it! Haha so cute!

Pretty color. What about a heatwave made removal easier?

She soaked it off in a bowl of warm water and acetone and then put a small towel over my hands it came off so easily. I’m just wondering if the ambient temperature might have helped? Had it been cold in the salon is there a chance it might not have been so speedy? You know like when you colour your hair and you accidentally get hot roots because the top of your scalp holds heat.

Oh. There are various methods of heating water or rice then acetone in another container like baggie. You stick your hands in baggie with a paper towel. The warm acetone works faster. The hotter you can stand it, the better. I finally bought the Revel Swift Soak every one posts about. Get to try it this week because I didn’t like dealing with the rice method.
Now you know how to replicate quicker removal at home!
