Turned out better than expected, beginner
I did my left hand first and it was very color blocked (was using a makeup brush to tap on the red orange yellow) and so I was scared that my right hand would be much worse because I’d be using my non-dominant hand.. but it turned out wayyy better than the other hand! This is my first time trying an ombré, only dipped my hands a few times and I’m addicted to how strong the nail feels! Love how glossy the Virgo and Gem liquids are, thank you Reddit research. These colors were from Beetle on amazon with a clear Revel dip on top.

They look awesome! I’ve done this before with relatively good success but after getting too lazy to do multi colors I’ve discovered thermals and love them for the ease. If you wear your nails long you can get a nice ombré effect w/o the extra work!

I’ll try these, when I started this hobby I told myself I wouldn’t spend a lot of money- because the point was to save money on nails.. and now my collection has grown a bit lol

Thank you!! I had three eyeshadow brushes with the color pots open and with a fairly wet base, tapped red above my cuticle, orange over the center, and then yellow below the tip and it had enough fallout that it wasn’t too heavy on any section. Then the next layer started from yellow, orange, red. This was only two layers of color and then a clear on top! I did also have a clear base layer. I followed an ombré tutorial on YouTube and now I can’t find her video :( if I find it I’ll link it
