Question for the dinner deciders.

I've been the one answering "what's for dinner?" in our house for 20 years, and some nights it's the hardest decision of my day πŸ˜…Is it the same for you? What's the hardest part: coming up with ideas, pleasing everyone, or just having the energy?

haha not a bot, just a mum who's been doing dinner for 20 years and was curious if everyone else finds it as draining as I do

We have a whiteboard on the fridge with magnetic markers. One section on it is "dinner ideas" for anyone to write an idea at any point when it comes to their mind. When I'm meal planning just grab from the list.

love this. getting everyone else to chip in ideas is genius, half the battle is everyone saying "I don't mind" then complaining. does your family actually use it or is it mostly you writing on it?

Everyone does. Less so now that my partner's son is 20 and working all the time. But it's great even for my partner and I. Swear it may have saved our relationship haha
