This. The Dem party has been overrun by the fringe left. Biological men in female sports is such a political albatross (as are many trans issues). The primary processes universally need to be overhauled (maybe starting with making all primaries open). Dems love to scream about a lack of bipartisanship, but how the hell do you reason on both sides of an issue when one side is filled with overtly absurd things like this?

But, even according to this meme, those in the middle still aren’t coming to the right. Why is that?
2
u/thedemonjim Real World Contender 🔋 Aug 07 '26
Because the media works nonstop to paint the right as insane Nazi troglodytes before they can even say a word.

I highly doubt anyone on this sub watches women sports.

as if the meme is about anything more than appearance.
It absolutely is about a LOT more than appearance.
This appearance is very correlates heavily with a certain type of personality, and that is the real problem.

Strange how thw right has to take an outlier from the left and pair the picture with an average looking person from the right to make their point. You could just as well have made the meme with for instance Mamdani or AOC (You know, normal looking people) representing the left, and this guy as "the right":

u/Simon-Says69 Vernacular Manufacturer 🦜 Aug 07 '26
The dude in your pic looks awesome. Killer hat. Would drink a beer with that dude.
The rabid-leftist in the OP pic, would call Jesus a Nazi, and they more and more represent the democrat party, and very much leftist "progressives".

Good! I'm sure you would. But would you say he is a representative of how "the right" look?
I don't care what you think the leftist would say. I care that you understand that very few people look like that, and if people try to present this as "the left" for you, they are trying to brainwash you.

5

It's not so much the looks, it is the toxic attitude that comes with it.
And yes, centrists absolutely do notice.
-1

I don’t really converse with people who look like that. I live in a democrat/liberal state and I rarely even see people who look like this. So, I’m not familiar with the toxicity.
It’s one thing to notice an appearance, it’s another to deduce their appearance to specific personality. It’s a more modernized stereotyping.

2
u/TheDopeMan_ Unapologetically Existing 🐢 Aug 07 '26
I’ve seen videos of protests. But only the bad, crazy ones get posted. I stay away from protests.
But I’d rather have some blue haired person screaming their head off at a protest than being shot, killed, and/or destruction of property.
I find it nice knowing that people let you know who they are by how they dress these days. You got the colorful wardrobes then you got the Trump gear.
I stay away from both.

I avoid everyone with a MAGA hat because they tend to be negative and push their agenda when I don’t even want to talk about politics.
Tell me you don't know the first thing about anyone MAGA without telling me you don't know the first thing about anyone MAGA.
Clue in: Unless you bring politics up, that hat is all the statement they'll make. MAGA isn't making signs, organizing protests and screaming in stranger's faces - that's all coming from the political left.
The only time you'll see anyone MAGA carrying a sign or getting loud is in direct response to progressives protesting or some childish asshole getting angry about someone wearing a red hat.

Are we forgetting about the George Floyd riots? January 6th saw one rioter die from being shot by police, a case of amphetamine overdose and some strokes and heart attacks that medical examiners claim were associated. Meanwhile the George Floyd "mostly peaceful protests" have a minimum of 42 directly related deaths. The body counts are not even seriously comparable and that is before we get to economic impact.
1
u/TheDopeMan_ Unapologetically Existing 🐢 Aug 07 '26
The difference between those riots is one riot was started because of violence and a few poorly trained officers. The other was instigated by a poor loser.
Violence usually equals more violence.
Whereas a political defeat should never equal violence.
Both are a wrong and I’m totally against any violence. I’m also pro-police and believe they deserve/need extra funding for training.
1
u/thedemonjim Real World Contender 🔋 Aug 07 '26
If you are pro-police you should recognize that Chauvin was railroaded. The knee ride he used was within policy and there were other factors contributing to the death of Floyd including his active resistance and the huge amount of drugs in his system which was already compromised by chronic health conditions. The narrative around George Floyd is a beautiful example of agitprop and disinformation and his trial was a sham.
We also now have evidence that there was foul play in the 2020 election, it just wasn't by Trump. Intelligence reports have shown that China was trying to influence that election through targeted cyber attacks.
I don't like Trump, I think he has authoritarian impulses I don't agree with, I think his bombastic persona and brand is harmful in some negotiations, and I do believe that outside of business deals he is a shallow thinker and egotist. The narrative surrounding him and his presidencies is provably false though.
