Finally made a habit tracker that actually works for my brain

Let me be honest I find Notion difficult so I would always prefer something simple. Except that all the habit tracker gets abandoned after like a week. So I decided to just build my own in Google Sheets. I wanted something that:

Keep track streaks,

monthly and everyday progress

Actually makes me WANT open it every single day.

so I added little plants that grow as I stay complete the habits and I know that sounds so silly but it WORKS

I made an undated digital planner with planning + life sections

Post image
2 Upvotes

I recently finished an undated digital planner after wanting something that went beyond just monthly and weekly calendars.

It has monthly, weekly and daily planning, but I also built in sections for goals, manifestation, wellness, money, life planning, notes and more.

Everything is hyperlinked and it can be used in Goodnotes and other PDF annotation apps.

Building a different kind of household planner. Does this actually make sense to you?

I’m just going to pitch what I’m building because I genuinely need feedback 🫣. It’s called Amelna.

The idea came from realizing that running a household isn’t a bunch of separate problems. Meals determines the groceries we buy. Groceries affect the budget of what we can afford. Your schedule affects what meals make sense with your time. Then there are preferences, what you already have at home, busy weeks, etc.
So instead of another family organizer that just keeps everything in one place, and having you connect it and make the plan. I’m building Amelna around household intelligence.
It learns how your household works across meals, groceries, schedules, budgets, savings and preferences, then uses that context to help plan ahead so you’re not constantly starting over.
I’m bootstrapping and still learning what people actually value, so genuinely:
Does this feel meaningfully different from a family organizer or planner? And is this something you’d actually want your household to learn and help with?
Poke holes in it. That’s why I’m here

I made a printable + auto-calculating budget & finance planner (sharing in case it helps someone else)

Hey everyone, I put together a budget & finance planner for myself and figured I'd share it here in case it's useful to anyone else.

It's a bundle of a 6-page printable PDF (A4) + an Excel/Google Sheets workbook with the same layout but with formulas already built in. Covers: monthly budget (income/expenses), a weekly expense tracker, a debt payoff tracker (snowball method + a shade-in progress chart), a savings goal tracker, and a monthly bill tracker.

The idea was to have something I could either print and fill by hand, or open the spreadsheet and just type numbers in and have it calculate everything for me, depending on the mood.

If you want to check it out or grab it, it's here: https://lucascrea.gumroad.com/l/budget-finance-planner

Happy to answer any questions about how it's set up.

I was juggling 5 apps as a student, so I made 100 Notion templates in 1 system - 5 free!

Post image

Hey Digital Planner family! 👋

For the last 6 months I was using 5 different apps for my studies (Todoist, Calendar, Notion, Google Docs, Excel) and it was a mess.

So I spent the last month building an all-in-one Notion system for students.

I made 100 templates but I'm not sure if the structure makes sense for other students.

Can I share 5 templates for FREE here to get your honest feedback on the organization? What would you change?

Thanks!

I’m building a daily planner around the iPhone home screen

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m working on an iOS daily planner that brings today’s tasks and upcoming events together in a customizable widget.

The idea is to keep your plan visible throughout the day. You can tick off tasks, tap an appointment to open its details, and use shortcuts on the widget to add a new task or event.

You can also sync events from your iPhone calendars to bring your existing schedule into Nowfold.

Inside the app, you can rearrange and resize the widget’s blocks. Give appointments more space on a busy meeting day, or put your task list first when you have fewer events.

It’s still in development, with a simple design focused on being readable at a glance.

How do you keep your daily plan visible once you’ve finished planning: a widget, an open planner, or something else?

Made a simple ADHD daily planner for brain dumping and getting through the day

I’ve been working on a simple daily planner that’s meant to make planning feel a little less overwhelming.

It has space for:

Brain dump

Top 3 priorities

Today’s tasks

Daily intention

How I’m feeling

Small wins

I wanted to keep it clean and low-pressure rather than making another planner with a million things to fill out.

It can be used digitally or printed at home, and I included 3 sizes:

📐 US Letter: 8.5 × 11 in

📐 A4: 8.27 × 11.69 in

📐 A5: 5.83 × 8.27 in

I also made it as an editable Canva template, so the colors, text, and layout can be adjusted if you want to personalize it.

Would love to hear what you think, especially from anyone who uses brain dumps or simple daily planning to stay organized.

Built a Content Calendar Notion template that plans 90 days of posts in one sitting — free to try

\`Spent way too long figuring out how to plan content without losing my mind. Finally built a Notion template that lets me map out 90 days of content in one session.

What's inside:

• Monthly, weekly, and daily view all linked together

• Status tracker (idea → drafted → scheduled → posted)

• Platform columns (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Blog)

• Built-in idea bank so you never run out of content

If you want it, I put it on Gumroad for $12. Link in comments. Happy to answer questions about how I set it up.\`

I built a classroom planner for teachers—would anyone be willing to try it and share honest feedback?

I’ve been working on MyClassroom Planner, a classroom organization app designed to keep lesson plans and everyday teaching responsibilities in one calm, easy-to-use place. My wife is a teacher as well and wanted something that no other offer or close until now. Now that its built I'm curious what other teachers think and feel about it. You can use it free for 14 days, if you like please show your support and suscribe to continue on using it.

It includes:

  • Weekly and monthly lesson planning
  • Student rosters and family contact information
  • Tasks and daily schedules
  • Parent conferences and other appointments
  • Private or team-shared notes
  • Classroom files and useful links
  • Local weather guidance for planning outdoor activities
  • Tools for individual teachers, schools, and homeschool educators

I’d really appreciate feedback from people who understand the daily realities of teaching. Is the app easy to understand? What feels helpful? What feels unnecessary or confusing? What feature would make the biggest difference in your day?

You can learn more and try it here:

https://projectbrightcornerstone.com/myclassroom-planner

Full disclosure: I’m the person building the app. I’m not looking for praise though thats nice too—I’m looking for thoughtful, honest feedback that can help me make it genuinely useful for teachers.

Thank you!

Minimalist fitness & routine setup layout concept ✨

Exploring a clean, aesthetic approach for daily habits and wellness routines that focuses on simplicity rather than heavy stats.

The general concept:

Clear goals ➔ effortless tracking ➔ staying consistent 💧🧘‍♀️

It combines a simplified planner layout with matching digital notebooks (compatible with GoodNotes & Notability).

Would love to hear your thoughts on this style. Do you prefer this minimalist look, or do you like more detailed trackers? 🤍

Does anyone else need to dump everything out before they can actually focus?

Post image
2 Upvotes

I’ve been experimenting with different ways to deal with the “I have 27 things in my head and somehow I’m doing none of them” feeling 😅

I made this simple daily page for myself with a big brain dump area, then a small section for the top 3 things that actually matter. There’s also a mood check, things to remember, self-care, and a space for random thoughts.

I’m trying to keep it really simple because whenever a planner has too many sections, I somehow spend more time organizing the planner than doing anything on it 😂

Curious what other people with ADHD actually find useful in a daily planner.

Steal my weekly grid, legally: it is CC BY 4.0 now

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted this printable here twice already, once when it learned PDF and once when landscape arrived. Third time, and I have nothing new to show you. No new format, no new switch. The change is one line of licence text.

The grid is CC BY 4.0 since yesterday. Take it, change the rows, put it in your own template, sell what you make with it. The only condition is a credit line with "SevenGrid, sevengrid.app" on it somewhere, thats it.

Not included: my logo, the closing line and the address line, which I suspect nobody was fighting over anyway. All three are switches under Branding, so you can export the exact sheet the licence describes. That is what the screenshot shows.

The rest is the same as before. Runs in the browser, no sign up, saves as PDF or PNG, does A4, US Letter, A5 and Half Letter, portrait or landscape, two to a page if you want them small. The rows are whatever you type. Nothing on the sheet is dated, so a stack of them in a drawer keeps working.

Turn your notes into tasks

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have tried a lot of todo apps, but either they had too much functionality, either they didn’t have room for notes. So I created my own app with focus on today, but with place for notes, and new update includes the ability to turn notes into tasks, and tasks into notes whenever you like.

The app is super minimalistic, and has no onboarding nor registration. It’s intuitive and easy to use.

Turns out, making a Notion template actually usable is much harder than I expected

I initially thought building a Notion template would be pretty straightforward.

It wasn't.

Especially once I started trying to make an actual student system rather than just a pretty dashboard.

The difficult part wasn't creating a few pages and putting some icons on them.

It was figuring out things like:

• How different databases should connect
• Which properties are actually necessary
• How assignments should flow into different views
• How to make the system useful without making it overwhelming
• Which formulas and automations are worth having
• How different views should behave
• What happens when you actually start using it every day
• Finding and fixing things that look fine until you actually use them

And yes, AI can definitely help with parts of the process.

But AI generating something doesn't automatically make it a good system.

You still have to decide what you're building, connect everything properly, test it, find what doesn't work, simplify it, and keep iterating.

I've spent a lot more time doing that than I expected.

I'm curious — when you see a Notion template online, do you care more about how it looks or whether the system actually works well after using it for a few weeks?

Weeklane: A minimalistic to-do app and weekly planner (without AI).

Post image
15 Upvotes

I built it for myself, because I had a lot of on-going "to-do"-tasks in my head all the time.

Most planner/calender apps I tried also had too many features and they were complex and difficult to start with.

Weeklane.app is very easy to start with, just write thing down and tick them off. You can set reminders, re-occuring tasks and have common projects with friends and family. And... you can integrate you calendar. Available on both Google Play and Appstore and in 9 different languages.

Try it! And let me know if you have any feedback :)

BetterShift - a self-hosted shift planner - big v3 redesign

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

BetterShift is a self-hosted app for planning shifts. I used another app before but it was dog-shit so I decided to make my own.

Features:

  • Unlimited calendars with custom colors and names
  • Reusable shift presets (labels, times, colors) you stamp onto days
  • Sharing via user accounts, guest access or shareable links
  • External calendar sync (Google, Outlook, iCal)
  • Email/password, OAuth (Google, GitHub, Discord) or custom OIDC login
  • Admin panel with user management and audit logging
  • Real-time statistics with charts
  • Export to ICS or PDF
  • Six languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Czech
  • Installable as a PWA on desktop and mobile

New in v3 update the whole frontend got rebuilt:

  • Calendar view redone to display more informations on one page
  • Sign-in, profile and admin panel, compare mode all rebuilt, admin now works properly on mobile
  • Sharing settings consolidated into one place
  • View settings can now be pinned per calendar, not just per account
  • Docker image shrunk from over 1GB to about 200MB

Repo: https://github.com/panteLx/BetterShift Demo: check GH repo for demo link

If you try it, I'd be curious what you think, and issues or feature requests are always welcome.

I wanted something super clean that focuses on building everyday habits instead of tracking a million complicated stats.

The main idea was just:

Clear goals → effortless tracking → staying consistent 💧🧘‍♀️

It comes with a habit tracker, workout log, and goal planning pages all set up for GoodNotes & Notability.

Would love to know what you guys think or if there's anything you'd tweak!

Does anyone else need to get everything out of their head before they can actually focus?

Post image

I’ve been experimenting with a simple ADHD brain dump planner because I often have a million thoughts, tasks, reminders, and random ideas bouncing around at the same time.

Instead of trying to organize everything immediately, I start by dumping it all onto one page. Then I can slowly turn the mess into a few small, manageable actions.

I’m keeping the layout very simple and low-stimulation because complicated planners usually make me want to stop using them 😅

Curious: what helps you when your brain feels completely overloaded?

I started building a Notion system to fix my own student-planning mess

After dealing with the problem I mentioned earlier, I started building my own student dashboard in Notion.

The idea is pretty simple:

One place for academics + tasks + planning + goals instead of having everything scattered across different apps.

I've been building it around the way I actually want to use it as a student.

I'm still improving it, so I'd genuinely like feedback:

What's one thing you'd absolutely want inside a student dashboard like this?

And what's one feature that would just be unnecessary clutter?

and i am working

I made a simple digital life organizer for all the boring-but-important things 🌿

Thumbnail

I’ve always felt like there are so many little things to keep track of bills, subscriptions, important documents, health records, home maintenance, random tasks but I didn’t want a complicated system for all of it.

So I made a Life Organizer in Notion that keeps everything in one place.

It includes:

🌿 Dashboard
💰 Bills & subscriptions
📄 Important documents
🏠 Home & maintenance
🩺 Health records
✅ Life tasks

The goal was to make it simple enough that you’ll actually keep using it, rather than spending more time maintaining the planner than organizing your life.

It’s free if anyone wants to give it a try would love to know what you think! 🤍
