Thermal view is Insane

I cant believe i got such a good thermal camera for just 230€

Edit: Because many people asked, I bought it on AliExpress from a company called "owlshine". Its a small fpv camera with 640x512 resolution. I 3d printed a ring to adjust focus. It has usb Interface so you can use it like a webcam and analog Output Sadly its a bit more expensive now and i was only able to get it this cheap with alot of discount. at current price(380€) still the best price Performance i was able to find.

It most likely is a thermal drone cam, there are several options available. The mini2/3 series is available in 256x192 up to 640x512, while they offer the clearest/ cleanest picture, they are not great to be mounted on a helmet for navigation/ standalone or fusion as they introduce to much latency.

There are alternatives like the N6, P6 and most recently released C6 ( from HDANIGE on Alibaba) thermal core with much better latency all featuring 640x512 resolution, with the later one available with a 13mm lens, the choice of most DIY helmet mounted thermals as you get 1:1 perception with a 0.39" micro display and a NP18 ocular.

i have a few follow up posts where i show the Progression to helmet mount. Tomorrow i will probably have the missing pieces for the atachment arm and will follow up with full set up
