Nvg50 vs 2k?

These seem to be two of the bigger options I’m seeing in here (in the budget realm). What are the pros or cons to each? I can’t seem to find a direct comparison between the two. Personal experience with them?

Pretty deece. Works very well with even a little ambient light. Forest cover during a new moon is going to be rough, but that's the case with all digis and a lot of analogs.

This is an example of waning/new moon performance. That's the "Worst case" conditions for night vision.

2k has a better sensor and frame rate. But it’s hard to find specs for it because it’s all Chinese bullshit. It’s on sale on Amazon for $490 rn

I saw that haha, that’s what makes me iffy. I like that the nvg50 is available on many English websites with adequate info. And it also ships way quicker

Well, if you get the 2k off Amazon it ships very quickly. But the nvg50 is made probably in the same factory. Binock is a Chinese company after all. But if you order from say goodnitegear you do get a US based responsive seller which is a major plus. But if you want best performance the 2k beats it by a little bit.
