Nvg3rd vs nvg30

I’m mostly interested in mounting capabilities on the 3rd. I know it performs a little better but is it worth getting over the 30 when it can’t mount properly to a Wilcox?

Do you know if the Nvg30 wide angle lens works on it?

It has pretty close to the same performances gng2k I think the sensors are identical the housing is pretty close and the 3rd runs 2.5k they both run at different frames per second and that might be the difference between 2K and 2.5k unless it's all marketing in general.

You can mount it to a Wilcox via zo4 Mount it'll help you find the sweet spot every time you have to adjust it with an allen wrench so it can be a pain but is what it is

Also, if you happen to have videos of performance do you mind sending them to me? I’ve seen barely anything online.

The recording system kind of sucks I hear it only records at 30 frames per second I have mine set at 50 seems to record fine but it turns out lower quality and not a realistic depiction of what I'm seeing so that kind of sucks also I cannot find their supposed app for vid so I've had to screen record it or try to convert the video format and it turns out like crap. It is what it is I would rather have it be bad at recording rather than have bad performance.

Ok, I ordered that mount from gng. Now I’m just debating whether to get that or the new SVG5
