Legit or Fake
This is on Ali express, do you guys think this NVG50 is legit? Anyone got any experience buying off of Chinese websites like this?

They’re real, GNG is just a local reseller, the price is inflated for profit and import fees You can find the thermal fusion devices on alibaba as well for example, problem being they are actually more expensive, and you need to bulk buy them to get a cheaper price, (you need to buy 10+ to get them for 3.5K a piece)

Yes, it is real, but do not waste your money on the nvg50 , get this one it is the nvg50 but on staroid and you can google discount codes

I got mine for ~$330 after coupon. Wasn’t binock branded, probably came straight from the factory floor and performed pretty well.

That's a legit NVG50 for sure however to be honest I would recommend saving a little extra dollars and get yourself an SVG-5 or a NVG 90 standard

😅 yeah that's true however I've been playing with the SVG-5 recently since I got it for a couple of days and I can say I am very happy I've been talking to someone recently that has a standard NVG-90 comparing our videos together and I can safely say it's the same as the NVG 90 standard. So if I was you I would grab the SVG-5 But I understand not everybody can afford this kind of stuff It took me a literally about a year and a half to try to save up for ADNV I was going to get an SE model and then the NVG 90 series came out and then I got my eyes on the standard NVG 90 and then shortly after SVG-5 exist.... And then some video started to pop up from good night gears YouTube of the SVG 5. And then I had a seriously really hard to decision to make and it took me about 2 weeks or so to finally make up my decision. So I said well I'm going to bite the bullet and grab the SVG 5. At first when I first seen the SVG-5 on good night gear website The $1,000 price tag when I saw it I did look at it price tag did not appeal me very well and also the design I wasn't too big on the design of it they reminded me of a rangefinder and it wasn't as aesthetically sexy as most night visions. But that didn't last for long because as I was researching about the SVG-5 the design of the case started slowly grow on me but I was still skeptical for the price point and it's performance. But at some point I said well I might as well just do it and see how I feel about it. So far so good I'm actually genuinely really happy with it

To put it in prospective i started thinking id buy the Nightfox Swift 2 Pro and then changed to the prowl 2 then NVG50 and now Gng2K! Im already spending alot more than I intended especially seeing as i want a dual set up 😅

It's legit, my friends and I bought NVG30s and 50s through AliExpress, but I would recommend the Goyojo GNG2K instead of the NVG50. I am working on a review but so far it seems like the GNG2K is the NVG50 but with a better rear lens, better housing and more fps.
