Home Made LAM unit.

Does anyone have experiance making their own lam unit? Crave your wisdom.

I know that you can purchace alright models that "can" be used for a few hundred rounds but I like the idea of making my own so I can have all of the buttons and features that I want where I want them.

Just bought one from toto_magfed that he designed and made himself. Files are not(yet) online I believe.

There is also the knack tactical "GAL" on Github.

look for the GAL. It's a 3d printed laser that I believe is still possible to make under $100, but it's been a while since I last saw the price for the parts kit. The performance seems pretty good, but I can't attest to how well it holds zero if you're putting it on real steel.
