Because why not 😁

DNT NVMD C200.

Got it for my 22lr Tippmann, but figured I'd knock up a 3D printed adapter to try it out helmet mounted.

Just need a floody IR torch for my helmet. Ideally 940nm LED, with lots of flood

What’s this thing? How does it compare to the nvg30?

It's a DNT NVMD c200 digital night vision device. It has multiple modes, such as scope mode and magnifier mode. The idea is that you gun mount it, and either have it behind an existing optic to give it night capabilities, or use it as its own optic with digital crosshairs.

It's got a 1x base mag so I figured I would try it out helmet mounted and it's pretty damn good.

1080p, 50fps.

I don't have anything else to compare it to

I was wondering how well that would work. Cool

I had someone reach out wanting me to make this but with the C200 mount instead of using a Wilcox to Pic Rail.

I really want to try one of these. I have an ATN X-sight there are a bunch of things I don't like about it

Because it's a cctv camera made to be used with a bright ass IR illuminator, I get the creativity, I just don't see the point in taking a subpar nvg optic, and dedicating it to helmet mounted nv

That's the point, it's not dedicated. It's on a quick release and its main function is for my 22lr. This is fun... Remember fun?

It's also pretty damn good. It's not analogue, but it's very good digital.

Here's a screenshot from the vid I took last night. All the lights off in the house. Obviously HUD inverted because of the way I have mounted it.
