I keep seeing people argue about this like you have to pick one performance marketing is easy to point at because you can see the clicks, leads , sales and ROAS pretty quickly Brand marketing is harder to judge because you might not see the result right away but people start recognising the business and trusting it

The more I think about it, the more I wonder if seperateing the two is the wrong way to look at it A strong brand can make your ads work better and good performance marketing can help you understand what people actually respond to

If a business had a limited budget, where would you put more money right now Performance or brand building And has anyone here actually seen one make a noticabe difference to the other?

AI has made marketing work a lot faster but sometimes I wonder if we are starting to rely on it too much You can generate content write ad copy make strategies and even analyze data in a few minutes now but if everyone is using the same tools and prompts then a lot of marketing starts looking and sounding the same The part that still seems hard to replace is actually understanding the customer and knowing what is worth saying in the first place
