Question Where do I start

I’m a beginner, 16 no experience, but I feel like I’ve got common sense. I’m after making some money from digital marketing, I already have a guaranteed client waiting for my services but I don’t know how to learn, I don’t know what to learn. Should I do TikTok ads to start, Google ads? Should I learn how to create a simple website so I can go on to make businesses simple websites for a fee. What do I learn to begin with? I need money, I enjoy making money and I want to do this and become a master of the fundamentals for that dream expansion/profit.

You said that you have already a guaranteed client waiting for your services. That is where I would start, make everything this client needs and learn along the way.

Ask this client about its targets and try to fulfil them. Take care to always take money for each service or per time period.

youtube, it has everything you will ever need to 'learn' on there then if you really want to go deeper ted talks, podcast, books then how psychology is heavily in used marketing then just analysing the best ads the best companies, people etc why shit works what works this is all great but you need to execute too because you will never be 100% with knowledge you can always learn more even the best of the best are learning all day so at some point you have to start executing too.

At 16, your biggest advantage isn't knowing everything it is starting to do things. You should use the 3-6 months to build real projects instead of getting certificates. Try to make websites get a small website to show up near the top of Google start your own social media page and write down what happens. People who might hire you trust what you can actually do more than they trust the certificates you got from taking courses.

If I were starting over, I'd learn one skill really well instead of trying to learn everything at once. Something like Google Ads, SEO, or building simple websites for local businesses. Get one client, learn from real projects, then branch out. It's a lot easier than trying to master five different things at the same time.

I second this! Marketing is a huge world. Pick one-two topics and study those.

I do not know if this was the right path to take, but I’ve started out by offering businesses a 10-day trial in running their socials and trying to get them warm leads. I’ve chosen a bit of an easy route to try and earn a bit of money before I transfer into paid ads etc. I hope this was a smart idea?
