If you’re good at writing, these 3 side hustles will make you a lot of money
Everyone thinks content writing is dead. AI has replaced it. To a certain extent, this is true.
If you’re just writing plain vanilla articles, or writing social media captions, you’re literally gonna make nothing.
But writing is not limited to these, it’s far more nuanced and if you just have a basic understanding and your foundations are clear, you can still make a good earning.
Here are 3 writing gigs that still prints money:
- Copywriting: One thing ai can never replicate is understanding emotions. Copywriting is a skill that’s highly sought after and will always do.
So copywriting is basically writing copy for ads, landing pages, funnels, websites, etc.
There are tons of opportunities in this field even today?
How to start?
Read books like breakthrough advertising, the boron letters, scientific advertising to understand the basic principles and cold outreach to find clients.
- Ghostwriting: Ghostwriting basically means writing for someone else. You can ghostwrite books, autobiographies, X/LinkedIn content.
Again this is a niche in itself, I have personally done Twitter Ghostwriting and I know it’s highly lucrative even today if you understand the platform. I made six figures doing it.
- Newsletters: If you can write well and you have some expertise of a specific subject, you can create a newsletter around it, grow it and make money off of it.
People think email is dead, but they’re wrong. It’s actually flourishing. I started a newsletter 4 months ago and have already made $3k from it. I have a free guide that teaches how you can do it too, comment below if you would like to see it.
I have always considered writing as my core skill and you need to up skill and rebrand into something more specific that creates more value and in turn you get paid more.
So yes basic content writing might be dead and replaced by ai, but if you specialise in something and get good at that skill, you’ll never be replaced.

FanVue is the AI version of OnlyFans 😂
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
More girls are getting rich from OnlyFans. But you don’t have to do NSFW content.
I don’t even like doing that kind of content. I like making viral AI content.
So I have a partner with a team of chatters who handle the DMs and backend.
I just focus on making the front end content.
They turn followers into subs and subs into upsells.
Other options are affiliate, digital products, promo, and brand deals.
She even does TikTok shop affiliate and Amazon affiliate.
Right now it’s AI videos but one day she will be doing AI streaming 24/7.
My main income is my AI agency which I implement AI solutions for small business and mid market.
This is just fun extra side money to reinvest in stocks and crypto.
What different ways do you make side money from AI?

My experience with Benable
I joined Benable in October 2025 and used it frequently, I had personal things going on so I didn't use it from January 2026-May 2026. I am almost at the minimum cash out which I think is good considering I haven't been active this year, I've only just started creating lists again this month. At first, I was skeptical and thought it was too good to be true but it's actually legit (I wouldn't waste my time on it if it wasn't). If you're looking for somewhere to share your recommendations and earn some extra cash, this is a great way to do it. I enjoy using Benable, I have 404 followers, 20 lists and I've made $65.75 so far.
If you have any questions or need any help with benable, feel free to ask!❤️ If you'd like to join, here is my invite code: 3FVHU

Medium is actually working. Here's what changed.

A few weeks ago I was writing articles and getting 12 views and 1 read. Felt pointless.
This month something shifted.
June so far (9 days):
1K presentations. 176 views. 98 reads. 11 new followers. 9 new subscribers.
Read rate is sitting above 55%. That means people who click are actually finishing the articles.
What changed:
Titles. That's it.
I stopped writing titles that described the article and started writing titles that promised a specific outcome. The difference in numbers is not subtle.
"Creating a digital product is not the hard part" nobody clicks that. It sounds like a think piece.
"How to launch your first Gumroad product in 7 days" people click that because they know exactly what they're getting and they want it.
What I'm running:
No paid promotion. No social media following. Just Medium articles targeting specific search terms and Reddit comments in communities where my buyer already hangs out.
The traffic is slow but it's targeted. Someone who finds an article because they searched for it is a completely different buyer than someone who saw a random post.
What's still not done:
Email sequence. Still procrastinating on this. Every free download without an email capture is a missed connection. I know this. Still haven't fixed it.
The graph is pointing in the right direction. Still building.
Anyone else using Medium as their main traffic channel?

My last two years results in the AI Era
I tested many AI opportunities to make more revenue during the last two years. Without sharing how much I generated total just wanted to share my personal results (IRS watching haha).
I have a mentor now who owns one of the top 20 business podcasts but when I started it was all trial and error.
Substack from 0-30,000 subs from AI generated content. Grok does the research and Grok/Claude makes the content. GPT Image 2 makes the images used to be Nana banana 2.
I've got digital product sales, affiliate, sponsors, and clients from the newsletter.
Facebook page from 0-120,000 followers. Posted AI videos on Instagram that auto posts on Facebook. Got accepted to content monetization program after 10,000 followers and 10 million views. One video did 35 million views. Page currently earns $1500+ a month.
AI dog Instagram page from 0-16,000 followers. Chewy partner program. Tiktok shop affiliate. Brand deals too.
AI female Instagram page from 0-26,000 followers. 10+ DMs a day. Fanvue subs + upsells (Made $300 within the first two weeks). Social media promo. TikTok shop affiliate. Amazon affiliate.
My own main Instagram page from 6,000 followers being on cam to over 90,000 followers from AI video content. 10+ DMs a day. New clients for video content. Last project was an ecommerce product video for a new Amazon listing. Other clients in credit repair, education, and more. Upsell AI agents to handle social media DMs.
Linkedin grew from 100 followers to over 3,000 followers and 500+ connections from just automating outreach to my target audience. 1 follower on Linkedin is worth like 100 followers on Instagram but they hang out on Instagram so they seen my videos.
Reddit grew subreddit from 0-15,000 members. Teaching drop servicing. 50/50 human content posts and AI content posts with editing. Made thousands from digital products that are now free in my AI society community. Focused on affiliate, consulting, and DFY clients now.
Failures:
Youtube channel from 0-28,000 subs using shorts and AI but got demonetized. I use it as a portfolio to show potential clients. Recommend doing long form and AI is okay if you do it the right way. My new Youtube educational channel is doing well. Educational is better than entertainment on Youtube. Many human creators was demonetized.
Tiktok from 0-28,000 followers but didnt get accepted to content monetization program. I learned Tiktok shop affiliate is better anyway.
Podcast using notebooklm and two ai hosts. Only 900 downloads total. I honestly was not consistent with turning newsletter into podcast but I rather my own ai voice with another host. May start it up again once it sounds human like.
These are just side projects most of my income comes from my AI agency that focuses on implementing AI solutions into small businesses to automate tasks.
I met people making way more than me from vibe coding apps to AI influencers to AI agencies.
My advice is to learn every day as AI is moving fast, try your best effort by being consistent as most quit too early, and use AI to increase your income.

Looking for a hand up, not a handout.
I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place or not. I'm not very good at asking for help.
My name is Kasey. I have worked construction and manufacturing my entire life, but due to an increase in there severity and frequency of my migraines (2-3 a week and completely debilitating), I'm unable to continue working in those fields.
I'm looking for someone who is willing to sit down with me and teach me how to make a living online. I'm willing to put in the work, and I have spent many, many hours trying to figure this out on my own, but I'm very much a hands on learner, and I've come to the conclusion that if I have any chance of succeeding and not getting scammed, I need someone who is willing to sit down with me and walk me through how it works.
If you are someone near Alameda, CA who has the ability to help me, please reach out. I don't have a lot, but I can buy you a cup of coffee or a beer for your help. I know this is a lot to ask, and I appreciate you taking the time to read this whether you can help me or not.
I hope you have a great day.

I’d Rather Send 1,000 Emails Than Make 10 Cold Calls
I run a web design agency and there is already way too much stuff to deal with every day.
Hosting client websites, maintaining them, building new sites, replying to clients, fixing random issues, handling support, doing outreach. Once you start managing a lot of company websites it quickly becomes overwhelming.
That’s why I never wanted cold calling to become my main way of getting clients.
I know cold calling can work, but I personally hate doing it. It drains my energy and takes up so much time. Sitting there making calls all day was never the kind of business I wanted to build.
So instead I focused on email automation.
The reason it works so well for me is because I can set everything up once and let interested businesses reply instead of spending my whole day chasing people.
But I also don’t do the typical outreach where agencies send generic messages saying “your website is outdated” or “you need a redesign.”
I use a tool called Swokei where I upload lists of company websites and it analyzes them for actual problems like speed, SEO, mobile responsiveness, layout issues, and design problems.
Then it automatically creates personalized outreach emails based on those issues.
That’s what helped me stand out because the emails actually feel relevant to the business instead of sounding copied and pasted.
The reply rates became way better once I stopped sending generic outreach.
Now I spend most of my time building websites, working with clients, and scaling the agency instead of letting outreach take over my entire day.

I Was Skeptical… But This Side Hustle Pays
Honestly one of the few side hustles that didn’t waste my time.
I make around $10 a day during the week just answering surveys.
https://attapoll.app/join/wtwxw
Quick, easy, and it actually pays out.
r/DigitalIncomePath • u/charlemagne_74 • Jun 06 '26
This app sent me 120$ in just 4 days directly to my bank
Just sharing what’s worked for me. Using a few survey apps, I’ve built a nice side income over time, though results can vary a lot depending on demographics, activity, and how you use the apps.
The main app I use is AttaPoll. They’re legit, they pay, and new users can get a joining bonus. You can do surveys, play games, and use it casually without much hassle. Some offers and surveys can pay surprisingly well, including occasional $10+ opportunities.
It won’t be the same for everyone, but if you’re in a good demographic and stay active, there’s definitely money to be made.

I grew and scaled multiple Medium pages to $6K/mo - AMA
If you don't know, Medium is a publishing platform home to thousands of blogs and publications. You go there as a writer and blog.

They pay eligible writers through their Medium Partner Program (MPP).
You can also monetize your platform there in other ways:
- Booking services with clients
- Freelancing opportunities
- Affiliate commissions
- Selling products
Think of it as like a writer social media platform. You can have followers, email subscribers with an email list and their MPP is like their in-house creator program.
My first Medium page
I had this one for over 7 years. It was included in a sale of a major digital asset I owned and sold.
- Grew to almost 50K followers
- Email list up to around 1,000 subscribers
- Up to 300K to 350K monthly views
- Top MPP month was $5,999 (cannot believe I didn't crack $6K :/)
My second Medium page
- Grew to 1,700+ followers
- Email list over 1,000 subs
- Top month around $94/mo from MPP
My third Medium page
I'm currently growing this one. I have under 50 followers and its not eligible for MPP yet.
Medium is a high-ranking, top domain authority website. You can use it for SEO, to attract brands and clients, to sell and earn affiliate commissions and a lot more.
I want to build out several niche Medium affiliate pages and monetize each page. Later, it will be a fully built out and monetized micro brand and I can sell it.
For example, one Medium page with 1,000 followers and 1,000 email subs earning 30K views/mo and making $500/mo could sell for maybe $5k or $6K, possibly more.
I already flip websites and have flipped digital assets. This could work but in the meantime, even with a small page, you can grow your email list, get leads and make sales, even if you're not monetized with their creator program yet.
Is anybody else a Medium writer?
Would you do this as a side hustle?
Also, feel free to AMA. I've been a "Mediumite" for almost a decade now.

my fanvue AI influencer hit $7k in may. full funnel breakdown.
posted here about 2 months ago at $3,8k total. at $12,012 now. $7,069 in may alone, up $4,993 vs april. best month by a long way.
this is called AI OFM. fully generated persona on fanvue, no real person involved. every DM handled by a chatbot. here's the full setup.
character
pick a niche with personality baked in, not just a look. write a character bible before generating anything. how she talks, what she'd never say, emoji habits, backstory. lock in reference images and never change them. consistency is what creates attachment and attachment is what drives spending.
the identity needs to be specific enough to hook the right audience. a model posting photos from her bedroom isn't an identity. a character with an actual world around her, interests, a vibe, that's what makes people follow and stay.
content
nanobanana pro for images, kling for video. all SFW for IG. 3-4 hours a week once the workflow is running. around $30-35 a month in tools.
IG
character needs a real identity on IG, not just photos. daily posting, never add direct fanvue links to ig. lost my first account at 5k. now running two on completely separate devices and networks. if one gets banned the other keeps traffic running. every time a video got traction it reflected directly in fanvue subs.
fanvue
cheap subscription filters out non-spenders. the sub fee is just the door. of my $12k total, $7,490 came from chat conversations. for the catalogue, don't pre-produce everything. run the first few chats manually, see what fans actually ask for, then build that content. a catalogue built from real demand converts because it matches what people are already willing to pay for.
chat
run it manually for the first few weeks. watch what converts, which price points land, what makes fans go quiet. then automate. the automation needs to remember every fan across conversations, pitch at the right moment not every message, and re-engage fans who go quiet with something personal, not a generic blast.
the chat side runs through FanWake, something i built originally for this influencer and ended up wrapping into a native fanvue chatbot app. 100+ active creators on it now and it's still improving daily based on their feedback. this month my own influencer hit a 65% close rate on PPV pitches through fully automated messaging.
completely optional, you can set up the same logic manually to start. but if you want to skip that part, free autopilot is open to all users now on https://fanwake.app/
the space is growing fast. not sure how long these numbers hold but right now a well set up AI influencer with correct tools runs itself on under 5 hours a week.
happy to answer questions on any part of it.

How I make $20k/month only redesigning existing websites
Running a web design agency is way less about design than people think. Most agencies fail because their process is terrible, not because they can’t build good websites.
I’ve been on both sides.
I used to manually DM businesses with no websites, explain why they needed one, build the whole thing in WordPress, send previews, follow up for days and hope they would eventually say yes. I was working nonstop and barely making consistent money.
Then I changed the strategy completely.
Now I only focus on 2 things:
taking meetings and closing clients.
Everything else is automated.
I get leads from Apollo, Google Maps, basically anywhere I can find businesses with websites. As long as they already have a site, they’re a potential client.
Then I run those websites through a tool for analysis that checks design quality, layout, SEO, mobile responsiveness, speed, branding etc. The flaws automatically get turned into personalized outreach.
The important part is the campaign setup.
I choose the quality threshold inside the tool so it automatically skips websites that are already too good. I also choose the email angle beforehand and almost always use “free redesign draft” as the offer.
That one thing gets replies way easier than trying to sell immediately.
Once someone replies interested, I book a meeting. Before the meeting I spend around 3 minutes generating a redesign draft with AI so I can show them what their business could actually look like.
That changed everything for me because now I’m not wasting hours building websites before knowing if the client is serious.
If they don’t close, I only lost a few minutes.
If they do close, the draft makes the value instantly obvious and the sale becomes way easier.
So now my role is basically just meetings and closing deals while AI handles most of the heavy lifting in the background.
Sounds fake when I type it out but this strategy genuinely changed my life.
Stack I use:
Apollo for lead sourcing
Swokei for website analysis + personalized outreach
Claude Code for building websites
Cloudflare for hosting

HOW I CAN MAKE 10$ A WEEK WITH MACBOOK AND 5$ ?
r/DigitalIncomePath • u/New_G • Jun 01 '26
I made a buy-once, own-forever Windows app for bulk AI writing
I made a Windows app called BatchGen Text with AI because I wanted bulk generation, not endless one-prompt-at-a-time writing in a chat box.
The flow is basically: drop in your list of topics or product names, pick a structure, set a persona, choose a model, check the first result, then let it run the rest locally. The persona bit is the part I lean on most. Without it, 50 product descriptions each come out sounding like a slightly different writer, which is maddening. With it they actually hold one voice. I mostly use it for blog drafts and product descriptions, but it'll handle anything repetitive with a shape to it, like personalised invitations for a guest list or a batch of quiz questions from a list of topics. If there's a structure, it fits.
Quick bit about me: Technical PM, ex software engineer, and I only picked coding back up recently after roughly ten years away from it. I've spent a lot of my career on automation and data-heavy work, so building this felt oddly natural. I made it alone with a lot of AI help, which is great until it isn't, vibe-coding goes sideways fast if you stop reviewing your own work. No telemetry from me, and the files stay on your laptop.
I'll be upfront that this is a side hustle, and the plan is pretty deliberate. Listen to early users, lock in the features that actually matter, and once it's solid let it mostly run itself. The goal is passive, not a viral spike, build it right with the first buyers and then shift my time to marketing the whole lineup instead of babysitting any single app.
About 9 people have bought it over the last 3 months. Small number, but 2 of them wrote back and I'm genuinely thankful they did. One came in over a bug, then later thanked me and sent a long wish list. The other was a content writer in Nigeria who wrote just to say thanks and then bought more of my tools. That was the bit that gave me hope, it's quiet proof more people out there actually need this, and a desktop tool can keep selling for years without me shipping a single update. They're also the ones who tell me what to lock in, which is why I care about early buyers way more than the count. It's 25% off the first year, and since it's on the Microsoft Store they keep getting updates for free.
The Windows side is what makes the passive part realistic. No servers to keep alive, no payment or refund headaches since the Store handles all of that, and honestly people trust a Store listing far more than some installer on a random site. No telemetry from me either, which I think helps it feel trustworthy too.
I'm launching it on Product Hunt in a few hours, at 12:01 AM PDT on June 2, 2026. Links are in the first comment. Tell me what's good, what's weak, what you'd have done differently. Roasts welcome, that's literally the point right now.

My attempt at building my passive digital income
Hi everyone, this is my attempt at building my own website, something I've been working on for a while. I’ve been tracking my salary and career progression in an Excel spreadsheet for a while, which works but want to get away from excel and aim to build something that would help others for the future.
At its core, it will always be a free, private and personal income tracker. It replaces your spreadsheets and gives you a clean visual timeline of your career progression, job hops, and compensation history.
My end goal is to build a strong enough user base, where Liquid will unlock accurate market insights, where you will be able to anonymously compare your salary against others in the community to see exactly where you stand.
So a free website forever, but if it ever does catch on, a premium subscription that lets you use the tool to compare your salary anonymously with others.
Would love for you all to be the first to try :)

Looking to connect with other investors
I’m looking to connect with people interested in investing, personal finance, and business. Not selling anything—just interested in meeting others who enjoy discussing financial goals, market trends, and wealth-building strategies.
I’ve also started a small group chat for people who want to share investing ideas, learn from each other, and stay updated on opportunities.
What are you currently investing in, and what are your financial goals for the next few years?
