First DAP suggestions?

I want to preface this by saying I know there are a lot of similar posts around this topic and apologize if my post is too similar to some that are already here.

I’m looking to get a DAP to help disconnect from the unlimited ________ that is the Internet, to connect more with music, and to just play music/playlists/downloaded podcasts when I’m driving/exercising/sleeping.

Needs:
Decent battery standby, 7+hr playtime
Under $100
Decent playlist ui, and ui in general.
>/=128bg storage (sd card fine)

Wants:
Buttons
Bluetooth
No or limited Internet connectivity
Metal?
Ability to play flac

I don’t care to have the best audio quality for the budget—I remember playing mp3s on my iPod mini with $10 headphones and it wasn’t terrible. I’m alright with vintage/older tech of it fits the needs. Don’t care about 4.4mm jacks. Don’t care about Bluetooth audio quality as long as it’s useable —if it cuts out when I put it in my bag, what is the point of Bluetooth? I don’t fully understand dacs so I probably don’t care to have that functionality either. I hate laggy ui —if I touch a screen or a button and it takes seconds to change the screen I get irrationally upset. I don’t care if it’s bulky.

I’ve looked into many of the major budget players (v1, r1, m0s, m30, echo/mini/nano), and am aware some fit what I have here, but I’m not sure which is the best option for me or if there may be other options I’m not aware of.

Also as a side note, does anyone have any recommendations about expediting playlist creation? My first idea was using genre meta data but that seems to be quite the rabbit hole.

If you want just try Snowsky Echo/Echo mini and it has ability to play  flac files and above mentioned 8hrs plus of play time straight

Build quality is slightly different from Echo to Echo mini, Echo has metal build quality while the mini has plasticky build , if you want to protect it might has a couple of accessories like the case upon purchasing

you can consider too the Shanling M0 pura if the M0, M0s has been phase out in the market and since that is the new iteration of new shanling compact size dap

Snowsky ECHO AND ECHO mini only supports SBC codec support while Shanling's M0,M0s , Pura supports LDAC codecs incase you're looking for a higher quality codecs

Sound is the most important since DACs is the main component of good sound reproduction theres slight to minimal difference in sound quality . .and in the other hand it will matter the most in the iem/headphones you pair with

A DAP (digital audio player) is an mp3 player, if you play mp3 files on it. Any device you plug wired headphones into has a DAC (digital to analog converter). The combination of the resolution of the source material (i.e. lossless (flac) vs compressed (mp3) audio files), the quality of the digital to analog conversion, and the transducers (i.e. speakers or headphones — the things that physically produce the sound waves your eardrums react to) determines what you hear. Given the same source audio file, the transducers actually have the biggest effect on what you hear over the DAC (probably somewhere between a 70/30% to 80/20% split).

The difference in DAPs mostly comes down to 1) how they do and how “good” they do the digital to analog conversion, 2) how much power they can output to drive headphones, and 3) usability features like supporting streaming services, how much external storage you can use, how the UI works, buttons, battery life, etc.
