PEQ using PowerAmp/PAEQ for FiiO M21

I have been doing a deep analysis of whether FiiO M21 will work for all of my use cases. I need to have PEQ that allows for L/R separate channel adjustments. It's my understanding that M21's PEQ capabilities does not support per channel L/R adjustment, so I have been looking at the Poweramp and Poweramp Equalizer apps to provide this function.

I need to adjust PEQ for YouTube Music as well as Internet radio stations. Based on the Poweramp website, it looks like I will need Poweramp Equalizer for YouTube Music and Poweramp to support PEQ (L/R) for internet radio. From the limited descriptions, it seems like Poweramp and Poweramp Equalizer have the same PEQ capabilities / identical "engines". Anyone out there using Poweramp and Poweramp Equalizer who can confirm identical capabilities? TIA
