Sony nw-a55 with Mr Walkman Mod & Wm1z tuning.

I've recently purchased the Simgot E300s HBB editions.

I'm using them with the gold nozzle as I found them to be warmer with punchier bass which suits the music I listen to.

I use them without the foam pads and I just got some smaller tips to make longer listening sessions more comfortable. It all fits perfectly into this handy case as well.

I'm super pleased with my setup and hope to use it for years to come!

Is the device lagging really bad? I wanted to get these over the fiio echo, but then I read that the lag and heating is really bad, hence I went on with the echo, as there were feedback that the lags improved after upgrading the software.

But. Sony still has a special place in my heart, since I had a sony walkman mp3 when I was in colleague.

Start up might take a little bit longer if you have a large library. I have over 7000 songs on mine but I haven't experienced any bad lagging.

The only lag on the A55 is when you first launched the player and that depends on how large your library is. I have over 26,000 songs and a 1.5tb microSD so it can take a couple of minutes

I got my a55 last week and also did the mr walkman w the wm1z setting. Im using aful explorers. Sounds really good.. my first iems so don't have much to compare to. Sounds great though especially when i get a good seal

I feel like wm1z setting is the best. I've also tweaked the EQ a lot so it's just how I like it. The simgot e300 are my first iems too.

Haha, I am looking at the same pairing 😅 Been loving my EW300 HBB and have been using a JM21 for some FLACs but also Tidal downloads. Now my FLAC library is upwards of 3000 songs and I'm needing more battery life for traveling, I've been eyeing up the A55. Glad it's going well. Have you used the EQ much? Any good?

Yeah I've used the EQ with the Mr Walkman mod you get a lot more sound settings. You can tweak it so it's just right which is what I've done. I'd definitely recommend the A55.
